Too Bulbous and Awkward
Designed as a g-spot vibrator, the Lucid Dream 14 by Doc Johnson is a bit large and probably not suggested for beginners. The bulbous tip and narrow shaft may leave something to be desired for most. Do your research before investing in this one.

Pros
vibration right at the tip, great if you can find your g-spot
Cons
very bulbous tip
I bought this toy years ago and it has spent a majority of its life in my nightstand drawer. The Lucid Dream No. 14 by Doc Johnson is designed as a g-spot vibrator. However, if you are unable to find or reach your g-spot with this toy, it becomes more of just an awkwardly shaped, obtrusive vibrator.
Having known the DJ brand as a quality toy maker, I was excited to give this vibrator a try. I had had little to no luck in reaching my g-spot with toys in the past and thought something from a company like DJ, with such a great reputation, might just do the trick. I also figured the low dollar ticket price wouldn't break me if I ended up not liking it.
When I received it, I was excited and couldn't wait to take it for a ride. As I unpacked it to wash it, I noticed an overwhelming jelly smell, but also realized it had been packed away since manufacturing and probably just needed some time to breath. I was also a bit shocked by how bulbous the tip was. As I examined it, I realized the vibrating bullet was built into the head, and thought maybe this wasn't so bad after all; with the bullet located at the tip, it could deliver a direct vibration to my g-spot.
Size: The overall size is 8.5", with 7" of insertable length. The Lucid Dream 14 bulbs up to a 5" circumference at the tip, which may be a bit much for beginners, then drastically tapers down to 3" at the shaft, before swelling back up to 5.5" at the base.
Materials: The vibrator is made of jelly, which rates as two on the Eden Fantasys Safety Scale. Jelly is not as ideal as silicone, since it is porous and cannot not be fully sterilized.
Controls: This vibrator has a simple twist knob control at the base, which can be turned slowly to reach a desired speed/strength of vibration. The control knob can be turned all the way to open the base for access to the two AA batteries it operates on.
Care/maintenance: It is suggested the toy be washed with warm water and mild soap for cleaning. It is waterproof, so cleaning is a bit easier without the concern of getting the controls wet. Since it cannot be fully sterilized, if you plan on sharing this toy with a partner, it's highly suggested that it be used with condoms. It is not very discreet, so make sure you have a place to store it. It stores easily in a nightstand drawer or any other place you might keep your toys.
Lubricants: This toy's jelly material allows the user to use either water-based or silicone-based lubricants, whatever you like better.
