All in all, this is a great product that I highly recommend to any beginner or anyone looking for a good, traditional-style vibrator. I literally fell in love with the smooth, velvety texture, it's nice vibrations, the great quality, and many other aspects of this toy. I didn't expect much from this vibe initially, but it more than proved me wrong, far exceeding my expectations, and then some.

Pros
Great smooth texture, waterproof, strong vibrations, high quality, unintimidating, beginner friendly
Cons
The "umbrella instructions" don't point out that some toys (including this one) are not for anal use
The Kisses Heart Vibe surprised me! I'll be completely and 100% honest, I wasn't expecting very much from this toy. At first glance I thought, "Hmm, it's pink, I don't very much like pink, and it looks like it won't do very much for me. I give it a pre-judged rating of 'meh, not so awesome'."
I was ***greatly*** mistaken. This truly is a wonderful product! This toy is so awesome that even *the color* is growing on me (and this is coming from someone who wears more black than any other color in the spectrum. Generally I cannot stand pink, but this little tickle me pink vibrator has buzzed it's way into my heart... and elsewhere).
This toy is mainly directed at beginners and those looking for their first vibrator and it succeeds in this respect! It's not at all intimidating (quite the opposite, in fact), it's fairly inexpensive, and of high quality. Even advanced users looking for the simplicity of traditional vibrators can find something in this toy.
I *love* the way the Kisses vibe feels. It is made of velvety smooth ABS Plastic with little raised hearts along the shaft. Call me what you will, but I had no idea that materials could feel this way *and* be safe, phthalate free and non-porous too. This beats regular plastic any day!
While there are raised hearts along the shaft, they are still comfortable while in use. They stick out just enough to be felt and enjoyed, but not too much so that it makes it uncomfortable. The hearts are also very smooth, and there are no rough edges to worry about. Beginners who feel that the hearts just aren't something they want, but still want a somewhat similar vibe made of the same velvety material can look to the Kisses' "sister", the Hugs vibe, found here: [https://www.edenfantasys.com/vibrators/traditional-vibrators/hugs-vibe] .
When I first got it out of the package it did have a plastic smell to it, but after a good wash it all but went away, and even then it didn't smell unless I put my nose right on it. Now, after use and a couple more washes, it has no noticeable smell whatsoever.
While this product is a traditional style vibrator, I find that I appreciate the simplicity of it. I do like more 'complex' toys as well, but alot of times I find the sheer simpleness refreshing. And also, I'll admit, it does look alot better aesthetically and of a higher quality than alot of beginner vibes out there.
This is a product that I can clearly see a beginner being drawn towards, and it's easy to see why (which is not a bad thing at all, by the way). It's unintimidating, very sweet and happy looking. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would find this product scary. I feel it's the perfect size for a beginner, it's not too big, but not pencil thin either. The toy is about 6 inches tall, with about 5 inches of insertable length, and is just over 4 inches in circumference (about 1 1/4 inches in diameter).
The Kisses vibe does have three little seams running down it's shaft, but they are barely noticeable. Unless I'm *really* looking for them, I don't even see them, and during use they cannot be felt at all.
The controls are very simple, a single, white, heart-shaped button is located on the bottom of the toy's base. When pushed, it turns on to it's lowest of three settings, and when pushed a second and third time it cycles to it's medium and highest settings, respectively. The button sounds almost like when you click a pen whenever you push it.
The vibrations are located towards the tip of this product, which is great for pinpointing spots like the clitoris, nipples, or elsewhere. While the vibrations *do* carry through the product down it's shaft, there is a noticeable decrease in the intensity as you move down the shaft towards the base and farther away from the motor in it's tip.
The Kisses vibrator does seem fairly loud, especially on it's highest setting. Even so, I could not hear it through a closed door or through the wall next to my bed while in the next room (which is separated by a 4 inch thick wall, just so you all know). Results may vary, however, depending on the thickness of the walls in your home or room. If your walls are thin or if you're worried about someone hearing, you can turn on some music and/or use this product under the covers to minimize the chances of being heard.
I like that this toy is waterproof! While it does say so on the package, I wanted to see for myself, so after letting the Kisses Vibe have a half-hour dip, there was not a drop of water inside it :) Not only does this mean that you can take this toy into the shower and even the tub with you, but also you don't have to worry as much when cleaning it, as opposed to most toys that aren't water or splash-proof.
The Kisses vibe is very easy to care for. It can be washed with hot water and antibacterial soap, and can also be wiped down with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol. While the product doesn't attract lint, dust or pet hair, I'd still recommend storing it in a small satchel or a toy box/drawer. As far as lubricants are concerned, it is compatible with both silicone and water-based lubes.
I was surprised by how much I liked the packaging! It is mostly clear with red and pink hearts and "X's and O's" for "Kisses and Hugs" respectively, since it's purple "sister-vibe" is the Hugs product. While I feel that the box is great gift-wise, I don't think it'd be the best for storage, so I recommend a little pouch, or a toy box/drawer.
The Kisses vibe came with instructions in six different languages (English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, and Spanish), and seemed to be just general instructions to cover different Doc Johnson vibrators, as it was not specific to the product itself. Also, since it is not specific to the any particular product, I would not recommend following the part of the instructions that says: "Insert the vibrator into the vagina or *anus*(?!) etc..." the vagina bit is fine, I'm mainly concerned with the anus part. This product does not have any sort of base to keep it from getting lost in your body. A good base is what stands between you and a horrifying (not to mention embarrassing) trip to the ER, and this toy is definitely lacking that simple safeguard.
I will be frank: I don't think that this was a very good idea at all, as this vibrator is *clearly* a beginner's toy and marketed as such. I know when I was a beginner (before I had done my "homework"), I knew *nothing* of things getting lost inside the anus and I can see that some probably would have and will try to use a toy or object not suitable for anal play if they don't know better. There is absolutely nothing on the instructions pointing out that unless the product has a flared base, then it should not be used in the anus. I feel that it's essential, especially on "umbrella instructions" that are used to cover multiple toys that a company puts out. There could have been a little bit on that in the warnings, a little asterisk leading from the "anus part" to a footnote, something, anything! This is not something that you can just assume that people know, because there are alot of people who don't. You can't just expect that they have or will read up on it, and when it comes to this especially, I'm positive no one wants to learn the hard way, via trial and error.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it7 months after original review
I still *love* it! The hearts are cute and feel great, and I love the strong vibrations. I still mainly use this for clitoral stimulation, though it's not bad vaginally either. It's not as brightly colored as it was when I first got it, it kind of faded, but I don't really find that to be very much of an issue, since it's still going strong when it comes to performance.
Even though I have a Wahl now, I still find myself grabbing my Kisses Vibe most of the time (when my batteries are charged, anyway). I *highly* recommend it, it's probably one of the best Traditional Style Vibrators (that I know of) for the money, and trust me, it's definitely worth it for anyone (beginner, advanced users, and everyone in between) who wants an inexpensive, strong, and cute vibe with a good lifespan.
I know for sure, that when I must lay this vibe to rest and it goes to "Sex Toy Heaven", I will definitely be buying another one to replace it (though it's held up great so far, so I'm sure I have plenty of time before then :) ).
