As with most bullets, the teardrop is best used on the clit and labia. You could use it on the nipples, the exterior of the anus or a man's genitals if desired, but its primary use would likely be the clit and labia.

It is not meant to be inserted in the vagina and definitely not meant for anal insertion. This toy could be used with or without the textured jelly sleeve, depending on your preference. Although it is best used in a solo situation, I suppose you could use it during foreplay or even intercourse without any trouble. This toy is not waterproof and should not be used in the bathtub.

Like anything else made of jelly, the sleeve is sticky feeling and is best used with a little bit of lubrication. The sleeve is covered in soft tiny nubs and feels great when rubbed against your sensitive bits, but should not be so extreme that beginners would not enjoy it.

Without the sleeve, the bullet is plastic with a seam running through the center. Personally, I enjoy the sleeve and though it is easy to remove, getting it back on is a little more difficult to do without tearing the thin material. Neither the jelly sleeve nor the plastic bullet seemed to have any kind of smell or taste, though I am sure after some time, the jelly material may start to retain some sort of odor, since it cannot be fully sanitized.

This bullet is by far the best shaped vibrator in my collection. It curves perfectly up against the user's finger and is just big enough to stimulate the intended area, yet not so big that it is uncomfortable to hold with one or two fingers. The biggest downfall of this toy was the cord. Upon first glance, you will notice that this toy is very obviously not waterproof. The battery pack and the bullet are unable to be disconnected from each other and there is not a waterproof seal over the battery pack. You will also notice that the controls are pretty much as simple as they come. This toy is controlled by a single dial. You simply twist the dial on. The farther the dial is turned, the higher the speed and the greater intensity it becomes. There is no variety or patterns to the vibrations and there is not too much of a difference between the low and high end of the dial. To turn the toy off just turn it back the opposite way you did to turn it on. Unfortunately, the ease of use of this toy is also a major detriment.

When in use, it is easy to turn the dial without meaning to and when the toy is not in use it only takes the slightest bump to turn it on. Yet another negative aspect of this bullet is that despite its small size, it is extremely noisy. Unless the walls of your home are sound-proof or your television is on very loudly, you will hear this from behind a closed door and in the next room over.

The best way to care for this toy is to keep it stored in the packaging it came in or in a ziplock bag when not in use, since it is a lint and hair magnet. Be sure to wash with warm soap and water or toy cleaner before and after each use. I would not recommend submerging this in toy fully in water, as it is not detachable from the battery pack and water could easily get inside the bullet itself where the cord is connected. So, be sure when you are washing it, to either wipe it clean with a washcloth or if you do run it under the faucet be sure not to get the cord wet. Because this toy cannot be sterilized, it should not be shared. Also, note that while lube is not really necessary, if you do intend to use it, this toy is compatible with both silcone and water based lubricants.

The packaging for the Orgasmic Teardrop Bullet is your typical clear clamshell with a picture of the toy. The clam shell snaps open and shut very easily, so it is ideal for storage. If you do not intend to store the toy in the clam shell, it can also be receclyed. Because the packaging is not very discreet, I would not recommend this for gift giving, unless the recipient is expecting adult gifts and has made it known that she is comfortable opening such things around other people. Also inside the clam shell is a booklet showing you how to insert the batteries, but other than that no instructions are provided or needed.

The first few times I used this toy I could not have been more pleased. The ergonomic design of the bullet made it easy to hold and I loved the way the textured jelly sleeve felt when I rubbed it against my clitoris. The vibrations were powerful and the fact that it was noisy did not bother me at all, it just made it all the more worth the wait when I could get time to myself. I found myself using this little guy every chance I could get for the better part of two weeks and easily reached orgasm every time. I would estimate that I used this toy about six to eight times within that two week period before I began to notice the cord was coming lose and causing the connection between the bullet and the battery pack to break apart randomly. It became more frustrating than anything to use because of this and has gone from being at the very top of my toy box to the very bottom. I wish I could give this toy a shining review, but even for the price, this toy is just too poorly constructed. Save your money and get a better quality toy.
