Although to me, the smell and uproar could get overwhelming, I loved that I didn't need any other toy to accommodate this play pal. With my other toys I'd have to use a vibrator and a dildo. Sometimes it's just too much. The Thumper is designed for ALL our erogenous zones. It's very suitable for nipple, clitoral and g-spot stimulation. It does it all. The feeling is a lot more intense when the vibrations are in-sync with the body.

This toy has a strong, sweet, candy smell to it. Almost too strong, if the toy was out the box and I walked into my room I'd smell it. The smell would stay on my hands for hours. I really dislike that the scent lingered.

TPR (Thermoplastic rubber) is compounded to mimic real skin for a "life-like feel." This type of material is flexible and resilient. The tip of the toy is soft and stretchy, then hard plastic is added under the skin to make the toy easier to handle.

The texture would be pleasurable for beginners and advanced users if they are into TPR material or pure skin material.

It's light pink and dark pink and looks like an over-sized finger to me. It pretty much has a ergonomic shape. It's comfortable, with a realistic feel. There's a lined section that separates the tip from the body to make it a little more realistic.

I guess there's nothing wrong with the design, shape or size except it's not easy to travel with or hide because it's not one bit discreet. I doubt this is too big for a beginner, but everyone's different. Advanced users would like this or might want something with a little more size.

The Thumper is approximately 6inches of TPR then 1 inch of only hard plastic (they opening for the battery compartment). So the insertable length is about 4-5 inches. A circumference of 4.5 inches. It has a little weight to it also.

It uses two(2) AA size batteries, which are not included. You simply twist open the bottom and put the batteries in. The toy uses an easy push button control cap(it's clear and the ONLY button on the toy). Click once for the first speed (tolerable vibrations and sound), click again for the second speed (mild vibrations, annoying loud buzz), click for the third speed(the 2nd speed x2) then click one last time to shut the toy off. The vibrations seem to be located at the very tip of the toy, which probably explains why it's ultimately pleasurable when inserted.

The toy is not the most quiet thing but being in the shower seems to drown out the sound very well. I'd recommend shower playtime rather than regular playtime if you're like me and not fond of loud toys. Nothing changes in the water either. The vibrations feel the same and insertion feels a wee-bit better since it glides in a lot easier. I don't think lubricant is needed if you're already in water BUT if you were to use a lubricant it would have to be water based. That way, it's easier to clean off the toy.

This toy is definitely a lint grabber so you'd want to keep it away from materials that might get stuck to it.
I recommend you wash the toy before and after every use. Also use condoms when/if sharing because TPR is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone. I also read that TPR toys are not affected by boiling water so you can wash them with warm water and a toy cleaner or mild soap.

Remove batteries when not in use. The best way to store the toy is to put it back into it's original package. It'd be safe and you can always find it wherever you place it.

The package is not at all discreet. It's approximately 9.9 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Therefore it would have to be wrapped up before given as a gift. This product comes in a light blue package with purple stripes and pink writing. The front has a clear cut-out which shows the toy. Writings on the front; Pure SKIN , Play Pal Thumper, Waterproof, SAFE and PURE, EZ Push Button , Lightly Scented, Dual Density, Amazing Life-Like Feel! The left and right sides are duplicate, shows a picture of the toy and repeats mostly everything in the front. On the back says the same as the front also but it also includes; 3-speed , soft, pliable TPR Material. There's also a NOT recyclable sign and "product registration: www.vibetronics.com." On the bottom, there are instructions and basic information about where the toy was made.
