If you're looking for a wand that is rechargeable then you might want to consider the LELO Smart Wand. It is the modern sleekness of massager wands out there.

Silicone, rechargeable, strong, sleek, light, modern
The Smart Wand Medium is another of the Insignia line for LELO. This wand comes in two sizes: Medium (surprise!) and Large. The controls are similar in design to to the Insignia Lyla and Tiani. The wand can be used both for massage and masturbation. For massage, the smaller head of the medium wand would be more suited toward targeting specific muscles. The vibrations penetrate well to produce an effective massage for some.
For a wand style, the Smart Wand is very quiet. It does not need a wall socket. It does not produce the earthquake vibrations like a Hitachi Wand, but it doesn't have the sounds like a plane in take-off either. It is still strong enough to work for the majority of users. The Smart Wand is not waterproof, so keep it away from water at all times. This can be a great wand for many people for many uses.
The majority of the Smart Wand is coated in luscious LELO silicone. The silicone for their higher-end products is a very high quality. It is buttery and smooth (you just want to rub it along your face). It has less drag than many other silicones. Silicone is a very body safe material. It is non porous, so bacteria cannot thrive inside of the toy. It will also have a longer shelf life than many other materials.
There is no overt smell or odor to the Smart Wand. The head is smooth and has some degree of flexibility. It has some yield, but it stays where you apply pressure pretty well. The Medium size is more pinpoint than the larger wand, but the head still provides broader stimulation. If you like pinpoint stimulation, then you might want to check out other wands that have more direct attachments (there are no attachments for the Smart Wand that I know of).
The Smart Wand Medium is definitely smaller than your average massage wand. In comparison, the Hitachi looks like a prehistoric monster next to the sleek, small, modern style of the Smart Wand. Instead of being ramrod straight like many wands, the Smart Wand has a curved handle like so:
The handle is ergonomic. It allows for the wand to be used in multiple ways and lets your hands be comfortable. Another cool thing about the Smart Wand is that it is impressively light. Many Wands are so heavy that you could break your toe if you drop them (or you could use them for home defense). The Smart Wand is surprisingly light and easy to handle. You could use it for long periods of time without your muscles becoming strained. The measurements for the Smart Wand Medium are accurate on the product page.
The functions for the Smart Wand are located on the front of the toy between the handle and head. The three buttons are shaped like the Insignia logo and are a plus button, minus button, and a cyclical button. There are 8 basic patterns and then the Sensetouch Technology. To turn the wand on, press the plus button. You'll hit the first pattern of standard vibrations. Press the plus button more to get to a higher power. Press the minus button to decrease the intensity. Once you have your desired intensity, you can check out the patterns. Press the center cyclical button for the following patterns:
The Sensetouch can be reached by holding the center button. At first it only has a tiny vibration like it's hardly on. Then, if you press the head on something, it will response by getting stronger vibrations. The technology is cool if a bit glitchy. It is not bad for the first version of this toy.
The Smart Wand is rechargeable. It is NOT waterproof. There is no cover on the charging port, which I view as the only major.
Taking care of the Smart Wand is easy. A wet wipe or toy cleaner is the best option. If you wash the head keep the charging port away from water. The seam is mostly smooth, so there shouldn't bee much debris around there. The silicone is very smooth and lint collection is at a minimum.
Once clean and dry, you can store the Smart Wand in the black pouch it comes with. You can also use the White LELO box if you want. Only use water based lubricants with this wand.
The Smart Wand is well packaging. The first layer is mostly white advertising the toy. The toy is shown on the box, so it is not discreet. The packaging shows a woman on it, but it is done in good taste (no naked folks). Open the box and you'll see another box. This box is white with the LELO name on it. This box can easily be used for long term storage. Inside the box is the smart wand, the charger, a travel pouch, and an Insignia logo pin.
There are instructions inside the box. They are very informative. This toy would make a great gift.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it1 day after original review
EDIT: The LELO Smart Wand is listed as waterproof. It must be that the open charging port is resealable (like Leaf and Jopen vibrators). If that is the case, it should be submersible. Looks can be deceiving.
I apologize for this inconsistency.

I asked our buyer about the waterproof claim and it turns out that Lelo wins!
The Smart Wand has a DC motor, it's perfectly harmless in water. It is waterproof after all. Joy!

Hi Mwar,
That is right! Smart Wands are 100% waterproof even though there is no flap covering the charging port.
Smart Wands are waterproof (up to 1 meter), since its motor components are securely sealed, so that even if the charging port is exposed no water can get into the unit.
