The Wing Fling by Hustler Toys is a strap-on clitoral stimulator suitable for any level of sex toy user. Because of its size, shape, and the straps, it is not ideal for wearing along with vaginal penetration. It is loud enough that I would not suggest wearing it outside the bedroom (unless you are home alone). It is not 100% waterproof, so this toy is unsuitable for shower play (see the care section for more information).

Because of the size of the butterfly and placement of the straps, walking around is difficult and awkward. Its best use is for light teasing while sitting at the computer (and browsing Eden *wink*), or reading in bed (perhaps some erotica), etc. Use it on yourself, or give the controller to your partner and have them tease you during foreplay.

The bullet is removable from the butterfly, so you can use it independently.

The handle and bullet on the Wing Fling are made of plastic, and the butterfly itself is made out of TPE material. It is highly flexible and elastic (stretchy). When I took this product out of its casing for the first time, I wasn't convinced of the material. It felt coated and super sticky, like a melting gummy bear. After a couple of washes, the melted, coated feeling decreased.

Although it remains sticky, it's not too bad. The downside is that it attracts hair and lint like crazy and already began to look cloudy after being used and washed once. There is only a very, very light smell to it if it is directly under your nose. After washing with warm water and soap, it wasn't noticeable anymore.

I am pleased with the quality of the elastic straps: they are thick and did not feel scratchy against my skin. While being worn, I did not worry about the straps stretching the butterfly wings to the point of breaking them.

The size, shape, and straps are awkward to get used to at first. The butterfly is quite large and heavy, and although the straps are adjustable, they must remain very snug in order to keep the butterfly in place so that it does not weigh down. When in the proper spot, the body of the butterfly will cover part of the vaginal opening, hence why penetration isn't suitable while using the Wing Fling. As stated before, walking around with this on is somewhat difficult and uncomfortable.



The length of the cord between the remote control and the bullet is about 32" long. The elastic strap that goes around the hips starts at 25.5" while tightened all the way, and can be loosened to 32". At the loosest setting, the elastic can be stretched to a length of 72". So, yes, this will fit MANY sizes.

As for the straps that secure around the thighs, the smallest setting is 15" in circumference. At the loosest setting, they are 37" in length and can stretch to a length of 45". I would not exceed that.

Larger women might have more trouble with finding the right position in correspondence to the tightness of the straps. With similar toys, I have heard others complain about the straps digging into the skin if having to stretch beyond the relaxed length. I am on the petite side, and it's not an issue for me, but it is something to keep in mind.

The shape of the bullet is a little unusual to use on its own, but it can be if you want to. It has a cylindrical, plastic outer casing.

There are four levels of vibration on this toy, no patterns. The highest level of vibration reaches about 3 bees (I think I may have even given it a 3.5, if I could); the butterfly muffles the intensity a tiny bit, but by no means is it weak. There are four red lights on the controller to indicate the level, and two buttons: + and -. There is no on/off button, so you will have to cycle all the way down in order to turn the toy off. I consider this a bit of an inconvenience.



The closer you can get this to your body, the more you will feel the vibrations. It takes some experimenting to get it into an ideal spot.

While the power is on, the vibrations are sent throughout the wings of the butterfly, making them flutter. This movement is diminished while being worn as the straps pull the wings straight. They are meant to tickle the labia while the clitoris is stimulated. I didn't really notice anything extra in this regard, but others might.

The toy takes 2-AAA batteries that must be inserted into the remote control. It is easy to unscrew the bottom of the remote and insert the batteries. There is an O-ring, for just in case, even though this toy was not intended to come in contact with water.

The only part of this butterfly that is waterproof is the butterfly. Meaning, you'll have to pull the bullet out of it if you clean your toys by means of soap and water. This a pain to do, and even more of a pain to put it back in. You can also clean this toy with any toy wipes or spray of your choice. You cannot sterilize it in boiling water, and you can't really fit a condom over it, so sharing is not advised.

The material is suitable for use with both water and silicone based lubricants. Because of the sticky, lint-attracting material, I suggest keeping it stored separately from other toys to keep it (and your other toys) clean.

The Wing Fling comes in a non-discreet black box with a window in the front from which you can see the toy displayed. On the side of the packaging there is a silly "Pleasure Workout" chart, telling you how many calories per hour you burn during the following activities: Tickling, licking, moaning ("per moan"), clitoral orgasm, vaginal orgasm, screaming, using vibrator, orgasms with a vibrator. I don't entirely understand this. Are they saying you have to orgasm for an entire hour to burn 50-something calories? Scream for an entire hour to burn 24 calories? Alright, thanks for the heads up, Hustler Toys.

This isn't ideal storage material, as the cardboard box is easily dented and bent, and the toy will just float around inside. This toy comes with a 30-day warranty, which you can find more information about on a sheet of paper inside of the box. The sheet of paper doesn't provide you with much more information other than battery insertion. I was hoping it could have provided more information on the material and how it should be positioned for optimal use, but unfortunately, it did not.

I was a little taken aback upon seeing this toy for the first time due to the size and material. It is gummy and cloudy, unlike how it looks in the photo. I was happy, however, that it was nicely displayed and securely held inside the packaging. Within seconds of taking it out I already saw lint on the body of the butterfly, almost as if it had already been on it while inside the box.

Putting it on at first was a struggle. The way in which you are required to wrap around and secure the straps is somewhat frustrating and uncomfortable. It took some time of adjusting to get it into position, and the fact that the material pulls hairs made this somewhat unpleasant. When I managed to get it right, it felt secure and less uncomfortable, although it is impossible to get this guy flush against your anatomy.

When I got up to move, it shifted immediately, so I returned to sitting in order to explore its options. It provided a decent amount of power, and overall felt pleasant. When shifting around in a seated position, I was able to get it closer to my body and feel the vibrations slightly more.

Overall, I'm not terribly disappointed by this product--- I only wish the features were better, and the material wasn't so sticky. In my opinion the size and shape of the butterfly would be ideal if only it could sit snugly against the body while strapped on. I feel that the price is suitable for the quality of product I received.

While I would not be quick to recommend this toy, I wouldn't deter anyone from buying it if they were interested, either.
