In use I enjoyed how well the crystal playmate glides of the skin and works well with the addition of lubricant. The head of the shaft is large and well formed and with the shafts modest length its comfortable for even the absolute beginner.

I didn't find this toy lacking in girth at all, with 1 1/4" Diameter it feels pleasantly filling and is as girthy as most of the toys I play with five years on.

The crystal playmate is made from a jelly material so not the safest sex toy material and it does have that chemical smell at first.
Extra care should always be taken with jelly sex toys to keep them clean as they are porous.

The design is quite unitimdating for first time sex toy users, with a total length of 5 1/2 inches and 3 inches of insertable length with a 4 inch Circumference.
The uninsertable length of the toy is handy for keeping a hold on the toy while using it but the rabbit could really do with being longer, I know I often found it a struggle to have it reach the right spot.

The crystal playmate is simple to use with 2 AAA batteries required to power it and only one vibration speed(which is quite powerful for a toy of this size)
The playmate is tuned on by sliding a switch on the base of the toy.Despite the powerful vibration I found it to be low on battery usage.It is noisy in use though! I was eighteen and still living at home when I first got this toy and I remember wouldn't dare use it if anyone was in the next room.

As this is a jelly toy you will find dust and lint will stick to it so its best to store it either in its original packaging or to invest in some sex toy storage bags, I sometimes use zip-sealed sandwhich bags to store some of my smaller toys as it keeps dust away and means I don't need to worry about toys touching and reacting/melting.
Care should also be taken to keep this toy clean before and after use as it is made of a porous material,antibacterial soap and water or sex toy cleaner can be used used to keep it clean.
I would recommend using a water based lube with this toy as water based lubricants are safe to use with all sex toy materials.
