The Third Partner in Our Relationship
This is a great rechargeable toy and well worth the investment. Made of good quality materials and luxuriously elegant in its design.

Pros
Elegant in design, powerful vibrations, various modes, rechargeable
Cons
Dies without warning
My wonderful partner bought the Lelo Gigi nearly four years ago. When we first started going out, this was the first of her toys that she introduced to me. As a complete sex toy novice at the time I was struck by just how luxurious the toy looked and felt. Prior to this I would have only thought of sex toys as dildos or small plastic vibrators but I found the Gigi to be very elegant in its design.
The toy itself is made from two materials; the first is tough abs plastic on the control end. The other end is made out of incredibly safe and food grade, non-porous purple silicone. (Note this toy also comes in pink and turquoise). The toy is powered by a rechargeable battery (power lead supplied) which is charged the same as a mobile phone. This in itself makes the toy great value; one hour charging will get approximately two hours usage. When you factor in the price of buying new batteries and how quick some toys get through them, not to mention that if they die you’ve to run out and buy more, I think rechargeable or mains powered toys are the best investment.
The controls for it are straight forward enough; it is operated by four different directional arrows which control speed up and down as well as cycling through the toys various modes. Additionally it has a key lock function which makes it good for travelling as it won’t be set off in a bag.
The Gigi is designed as a g-spot vibrator with a slightly bulbous head on it, however in the times I have been with my partner, they have only inserted it a handful of times. Mainly because of how ridged it is. Although I know some people love incredibly ridged toys, they aren’t for us. We both find it works better as a clitoral vibrator as the shape of it sits nicely against my partner and never fails to bring about the desired result. Despite the strong vibrations, the insulation of the silicone makes the toy very quiet.
Being made of silicone, the toy is safe to use and easy to clean. A little water based lubricant does the trick nicely and once finished, a light wash with warm soapy water on the silicone end will clean it no problem. Please note that the toy is not waterproof so do not submerge the plastic end!
The only problem with the toy is that it dies without warning and can do so at the most inopportune times, however if you charge it regularly you shouldn’t have any problems.
I know that it is her favourite toy of her entire collection and I must say I think it's a great toy. After four years of use it’s still going strong. As you would expect with Lelo it is a quality item and very luxurious and elegant in its design.

Interesting Review. POINT OF ORDER. The LELO brand has a 1 year warranty but after that, an extended 9 year discount option in which you can purchase a replacement for 50% off. I think that's a peace of mind. I like our LILO Gigi and its still going strong.
