A new breed of rattlesnake has been discovered! Known as the Lemon Loops, this one loves the water, has a gentle, soft vibration and is a teaser not a striker. Fun to play with and great for beginners, this is one set of rattler buttons that you won't run from...well, maybe. Depends on who is doing the Rattlesnake Shake, hehehe!

Pros
--Unique shape & sensations. --Waterproof. --Quiet! --Long battery life.
Since the design of the Lemon Loops is similar to the buttons of a large rattlesnake, it is a great textural teaser. The light vibrations add to the sensations, but may not be enough to take you out of striking range, but paired with the shape, it makes a great warm up combination for foreplay and sensory teasing.
Using this for massages was not the greatest idea I came up up with since it is pretty flexible and has lighter vibrations. However, when used with my husband as a teaser for the testicles and a light nipple vibrator--it really shook his buttons. As a clitoral teaser, the shape of the tip area and the flexibility was pleasing, but there is no danger of snakebite here...it was just not powerful enough to do more than a lukewarm reaction.
This vibrator would be best for beginner users who are trying to figure out their likes and dislikes and those who enjoy teasing during foreplay. The interesting shape and flexible material makes this fun for experimenting and non-threatening.
The Lemon Loops rattlesnake button vibrator is made of jelly. Jelly is a softer material that rates only a 2 on the safety scale and is extremely porous, which does allow it to harbor bacteria inside the pores and makes it non-sterilizable. This material does break down and needs to be tossed if an abnormal or foul odor is noticed.
Jelly also has some benefits other materials do not have. It is very flexible, has a wonderful and sensual drag against your skin and has a pleasing, squishy texture. The softness of the material is definitely a plus, along with its ability to be molded to almost any shape.
There is an odor that is pretty specific to jelly items. It is a chemical, plastic smell that can be fairly strong on opening the package. Let the Loops air out for a couple days, wash it well and the odor will lighten up. I use a flavored lube after I wash it, wash the lube off without using the item and the smell is almost nonexistent...I do not know how this works, only that it dies.
The shape of the loops and the flexible tip really adds a unique sensation. Add the drag and light vibrations...teasing heaven! For slow build up, sensory torturing--oops, I meant teasing--and fun in the water, this little snake tail is worth the hassle of the jelly material.
Since the Lemon Loops reminds me of the buttons & tail of a rattlesnake, it has a unique and also unexpectedly pleasing effect when used as a teaser. This toy adds a whole new meaning to 'shake the snake', and luckily, it vibrates for pleasure--not as a warning!
The noise level is very discreet, making this a great beginner item, campus or roommate toy and an exceptional teaser. The light, soft but buzzy vibrations however, are definitely well within the strike zone. You need not fear getting bitten by this vibrator! Most users will need a different item to finish the task this one has begun.
Having an overall length of around 6 1/2", a shaft girth of about 1 1/4" and insertable to about 5", this is a pretty small and easily hidden vibrator. The tip starts with a single loop that is around 1/4" and the next four loops gradually get larger until they meet the cylinder of the shaft. This is a fun option for those who prefer smaller toys, lighter sensations and minimal noise.
You can travel with this, but remember to remove the batteries and hide it in a zippered pouch or other container. Since it does pick up lint, cloth is not a great option for storing it inside your luggage. It does fit inside an eyeglass case, small make up bag or a decorated, cardboard, toilet paper roll.
Using only 1 AA battery, the Loops has an amazingly long vibration period. My battery has lasted approximately for 4 1/2 hours of highest powered teasing, and it is barely showing a sign of needing to be replaced. To access the battery compartment, twist the base off gently and add the battery. Replace the cap, making sure the rubber o-ring is secure, and tighten.
The vibrations are steady and are controlled with a twist of the dial base. The more you turn, up to its limit, the stronger the vibrations. Unfortunately, they seem to peak just when the fun is starting to happen. Reducing the vibrations and turning it off is as easy as reversing the twist on the dial. This is a very easy to use and basic control that is a common feature among many of the inexpensive vibrators.
Loops is waterproof, and the material and vibrations really come alive in the water. The slickness of the water, the light drag of the material paired with the texture and the soft vibrations adds an erotic and sensual feeling to your bath. The soft movement of the water is definitely the clincher! I do not recommend using a waterproof lube due to the porousness of the material.
Wash very thoroughly in warm, soapy water and rinse well. To remove any residues in the grooves around the 'buttons', use a soft bristled toothbrush and very lightly scrub the area. Let this air dry, then go back over it with a toy cleaner. Use one for porous materials to get the best protection available against bacteria and other nasty entities. If the material gets tacky or sticky, you may rub a small amount of cornstarch on it to restore the finish.
Store this separately, in its own container and away from all other toys! Jelly needs to be kept in a dark, cool area out of all direct light. If it gets too warm, it will melt and corrupt any other material it comes in contact with as well as engulfing the item. UV rays and light will fade and deteriorate the jelly material making it unsafe to use. Make sure you inspect the Loops carefully, looking for signs of material deterioration or damage prior to using the vibrator. Use ONLY water based lubes due to its porous nature. Other lubes will not be removable from the interior of the material.
~~Excellent for tub, shower, swimming and other forms of water play.
~~Good warm up or foreplay item.
~~Great for textural teasing.
~~Fun gag item. Place outside in plants, leaving the 'tail' sticking out, turn it on and walk by with unsuspecting person. Let it do the rattlesnake shake!
~~Signs of material deterioration:
*Foul or abnormal odor.
*Fading, cracking or chunking in the material.
*Change of shape or melting.
*Loss of squishiness, getting hard.
*Softening and loss of springiness.
*Damage or tears in the jelly.
Loops is fun in the water and feels very unique as a teaser. Unfortunately, a teaser is all this one is going to be since it lacks the power to back itself up. In other words, it cannot finish what it started. The jelly material does add to the sensation, but is not as safe as other materials. I enjoy some light play with this rattlesnake tail, but am leaving the heavy stuff to the more powerful items in my toy box.
I use this as a textural teaser, a travel toy and for fun in the water. This is one item that would not kill me if it was lost or left behind, so taking it camping or fishing is definitely in. There are a few rattlesnakes where we live and I have to admit, the most fun I have had with this was scaring the Hell out of my hubby, however I fear the payback will not be as much fun....
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it8 months after original review
A cheap vibrator but fun for practical jokes, the Lemon Loops was a big let down. I love the shape and texture but really hate the light vibrations. It may be fun for those who do not need powerful vibrations to orgasm, but I would have to say most users will need a second to to orgasm.
