The Onye or What's that noise?
This is a great toy if you don't care if your roommates can hear the toy humming away. It wasn't worth my money, but it's lasted nearly a year, is still offering pleasure; however, I'm on the market for a quieter toy.

Pros
Easy to use, Great for beginners.
Cons
Noisy.
I’ve never spent more than $30 on vibrators and was very hesitant to shell out the money for The Onye. I was looking for a discreet and silent vibrator. Reviews for The Onye touted this particular toy as quiet. I can only imagine that if this toy is quiet by these reviewers’ standards what noisy would be like! The first setting is a pleasant pulse and is easily used without the entire household hearing it, but after that . . . well, let’s say my boyfriend was laughing at the noise it made.
When I’m looking for quiet, I’m looking for something I can use at my folks’ house either in my bedroom or the bathtub without them asking “What’s that noise?” …Ummm, my vibrating razor?
The first three settings are the same vibrations at varying intensities. These are my favourite settings to use depending on how quickly I’d like an orgasm or perhaps how sensitive my vulva and clitoris are that particular session. The other five vibrations vary in speed, strength, and rhythm, and are fun to play with as well. However, I rarely found them as pleasurable as the traditional steady vibration feel as the first three.
The button at the base of the toy is easy to use. All you do is press it to change modes or hold it down to turn it on/off.
The size of The Onye fits pleasantly inside my vagina, which tends towards to be tight and shallow. So this is a great size for toy beginners. I have even used this toy as a dildo when the batteries died. I’ve also used this toy in the bath without major internal damage, thus far, unlike other toys where sometimes water leaks through and ruins the batteries or components. Using the toy for a nipple teaser is a great thing too!
The satin box that The Onye arrives in isn’t worth the extra money. The edges of the box’s material easily fray. The internal lining stays nice though. And it is nice to have a box to stow the toy.
The Onye is easy to wipe down and clean.
I’ve had a few problems with the toy, briefly, when I first changed the batteries: the toy wouldn’t change speeds and when I twisted the toy closed the toy stayed on and wouldn’t turn off. Everything works fine now.

Thanks for the review!

It's a shame that something so classy and in this price range would be expensive.

I'm glad I didn't get this one then, since it's not quiet. For me, it was between the Onye and the Mia. You might want to give the Mia a try!
