The Touche Brigit is a ten speed traditional vibrator. The bottom half of the toy is covered with a unique scale-like texture that provides some extra stimulation for those who are a fan of texture. The bottom half of the toy has a scale-like pattern with hundreds of tiny little fish-like scales. While it looks intense, it provides a very nice mild stimulation during use since the scales are not raised very much. On the lower power levels, the Touche Brigit is about a 2-3 vroom toy and is fairly quiet, anywhere from 1-2 bees; however, when the power starts getting higher, so does the sound. On high the Touch Brigit is about 4 vrooms, and it puts out a mix of rumbly and buzzy vibrations with a sound level of 2 bees. On high you could hear this toy through the covers, but it should not be heard through a closed door.

The Touche Brigit is splashproof for use in the shower. There is a rubber o-ring on the battery compartment to protect the internal parts from moisture when operating around water or while cleaning.

As silicone is non-porous, the toy will not harbor dangerous bacteria with proper cleaning. To clean you can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap - you will want to take extra care to clean the scaly texture of the toy, as lube and other bodily fluids can dry up in the scalloping and be difficult to remove. A soft toothbrush works well to thoroughly clean the textured area of the toy. You can also use toy cleaner or toy wipes on the Touche Brigit. Since the Touche Brigit has a motor and electrical parts, as well as plastic parts, it cannot be boiled or ran through the dishwasher, but you can soak in a 10% bleach solution to sanitize before sharing with another user.

As the Touche Brigit is made of silicone, silicone-based lubes should be avoided when using the toy, as silicone lubes can bind with the silicone on the surface of the toy making it permanently tacky. It is best to use only water-based lubes with silicone toys.

The Touch Brigit comes in a white cardboard box, with a large window on the front of it that the toy can clearly be seen through. The front of the box has the Touche crest logo on the bottom, along with the phrase "essentials of passion." The back of the box is covered in information about the toy, and its safety features and functions. The packaging is far from discreet, yet still tasteful: there are no pictures of naked women on this box. Inside of the white box, the Touche Brigit is enclosed in a plastic clam shell along with two AA batteries. Inside of the box there is also a user's manual.

Many people have compared the texture on the Touche Brigit as fish scales or mermaid scales.
