The Liv brought me to life
Any vibrator will get the job done eventually, but the Liv gave me quite a ride and I haven't ever had a better orgasm. It takes me a while to climax too, so that's saying a lot.

Pros
Beautiful, stylish, powerful, simple, and quiet
Cons
A black color would be nice
As much as I love my bullets, and pocket rockets, I felt it was time to upgrade to something a little stronger, and a little sexier. I really wanted something with a very basic yet sleek design. I'm a designer and artist, so I like innovative design. Something with elegance, sensitivity and power. Just as I was about to return to my very basic rocket (I have a hard time with large price tags when I'm really just a creature of habit), I found it. The Liv rechargeable vibrator. It was just about everything I asked for and more.
The vibe came in a lovely little gift box, so it would have been perfect as present for a partner, or friend. As a matter of fact, it's the nicest presentation I've ever had with a sex toy. I normally get cheap packaging or no packaging at all. For a sex toy, the Liv is gorgeous; it was love at first sight. I got the navy blue and it's perfect for me. I've seen the pink and green in person too and they also look great. To each her own. There are five different pre-programmed patterns to customize your experience, and can be changed at any time with the dial: steady vibration, 3 escalating pulses, up and down vibrating, and 7 power settings. You get a lot of bang for your buck. It's pretty straight forward, unlike some complicated vibrators that seem to have a million buttons and wires and attachments. It was also really comfortable to hold, which is a huge plus. Another selling point for me is that the Liv is rechargeable (and holds its charge well). I'm terrible at remembering to buy batteries and they are kind of pricey. Also, after a while no electronic that uses batteries in my house has any left. So as you can imagine, rechargeable works a lot better for me. If you're the same in that regard, give this one a shot. Oh and if it makes a difference to you it is also eco-friendly. Not as huge in my book, but a nice plus.
The vibrator is perfect for clitoral stimulation, but is also insertable up to 4.5" and makes for excellent partner play as well. Easy to hold, easy to use, and easy to love. I love my pocket rockets and they hold a special place in my heart and toy box, but it's never really that impressive pulling those out for partner play. The Liv is much more attractive and interactive. You could actually tease someone with it quite nicely. Just the look alone will accomplish that. I have had amazing orgasms over and over again with this vibrator, and our relationship has just begun. I tend to not change speeds too much while using it, but it is easy to do and some variety is exciting. It also has a lock on it so it doesn't turn on while traveling or while you're not using it. Mine holds charge pretty well (though I can't give you an exact as I tend to lose track of time). I always keep it charged just to be on the safe side.
Material/Cleaning: The Liv has a silicone coating over the plastic interior, and cleaning has been really easy. I just use a toy cleaning spray or if I'm out of that I use an antibacterial soap and some water. You could also use a 10% bleach solution if you so choose. Also it's hypo-allergenic and latex free if you have any allergies or sensitivities.
This vibrator has a pretty powerful punch to it, but it's QUIET. So happy about that. Walls are paper thin where I live and I always turn the fan on as it is. It's nice to not have to worry.
Despite my reluctance to drop the $100 on it, the Liv vibrator is in it for the long haul. Quite possibly the best purchase I've made since my HDTV, and that's a bold statement to make. If you're looking to treat yourself or someone else to a gift that will give all year, definitely check out this vibe.

You know, the dark blue is ALMOST a black hue, but the Billy's is a bit darker, I believe. Similar design, though.
