The Decadent Indulgence 2 is my favorite vibe in my now small collection of toys. It is a total of 10" in length and is 4 1/2" in diameter. The DI2 takes four AA batteries and has "300 functions." The DI2 is powerful, provides diverse stimulation to the clitoris, and is capable of giving great orgasms. There are a few shortcomings, however. The negatives don't come from complaints about the toy but from TRYING to find things wrong with it—even though it works well for me and I don't really have complaints about it. But there are shortcomings, and there are women who I know would have problems with some of them.

First of all, the Decadent Indulgence 2 is quite noisy. The clitoral bullet isn't loud, but once the shaft is turned on and begins to rotate, the vibrator makes an awful, continuous, mechanical sound. This makes it quite difficult to use the toy in privacy, and that is often frustrating for me because that means that I'm unable to use the shaft when I use the toy if there's a possibility of people overhearing. When the shaft is running, however, it is heavenly. The shaft is long enough for deep penetration, and the texture of the shaft along with the non-jamming rotating beads and rotating head are almost too much for me, leaving me in a drooling, relaxed state once I'm done using it.

The vibrating bunny is the real treat, though. The vibrations in the clitoral stimulator (the bunny) range from subtle to out-of-control powerful. There are ten levels of vibration for the clitoral stimulator. I can't often make it past the fifth level.

The controls on the DI2 are simple enough to master. The packaging claims that the buttons glow in the dark and that there's a single "off" button that turns off every function. For me, this is not true. My DI2's buttons do not glow in the dark, or at least they don't do so very well. The buttons on the shaft control the levels of vibration, the rotation, and the five functions of the clitoral stimulator. Though the buttons don't glow, the levels of vibration and rotation—along with the numbered functions of the clitoral stimulator—are lighted and shown clearly on the control pad (although once the batteries start dying, the light begins to fade, but that's a given).

My only serious complaint is that this toy isn't waterproof. Using alcohol wipes to clean it would be easiest, but I don't often have those, so I have to just use warm water and soap. I'm often afraid that this toy won't work anymore if I get a single, minuscule drop of water on it, and that's not fun to worry about when you're handling your favorite toy that cost you a large chunk of your graduation gift money. So, I do wish this toy were waterproof. It would be so much fun in the shower.

Be forewarned, though. Don't use the toy for too long (if you're not familiar with that rule). If the clitoral stimulator stays on for too long, it will overheat. If you ignore the blisteringly hot bunny poking at your clit, the wires connecting to the bullet in the bunny will melt and come loose, pulling away from the bullet and cutting the vibration off entirely. I did manage to fix this, though. But it involves taking the entire toy apart and putting it back together again; a brief knowledge of circuits would be required as well. It's not hard—I promise. But it is a pain in the butt.

All in all, this toy is great. Aside from my hard lesson learned, I've gotten a lot of pleasure out of this toy. I've had it for a little less than a year now, and it still works great (again, minus my stupidity in using the toy for way too long). I wouldn't recommend this toy for beginners because it is quite intimidating in person, and I imagine the buttons would be a little overwhelming. I would recommend this noisy, extremely pleasurable toy for any woman who's not afraid of getting a little too loud.

The material of the Decadent Indulgence 2 is jelly. There is a slight smell to mine (and the packaging says that there is a smell, calling it "pleasantly scented"), but it isn't a turnoff. Repeated washings with scented antibacterial soap have made it less noticeable, and it even smells better. The texture of the toy is veined, which feels nice and realistic.

The overall design is well done. It's possible to adjust the toy to your liking; the bullet is very flexible, and I imagine it can reach a wide variety of clitorises while the shaft is inserted.

The vibrator itself is quite a bit bulky. I had a hell of a time finding something safe to put it in. It's got some weight to it, too, which is good if you're the kind of woman who likes a little weight in her vibes. (I am. It's kind of a comfort thing; it's too weird if they're light.) The bulkiness is definitely not for beginners, but this is probably an intermediate's toy, and a beginner would be well on her way to owning one of these toys.

The performance of the Decadent Indulgence 2 is well above the call of duty. The strong vibrations, coupled with the wild stimulation of the gyrating shaft, are explosively pleasurable. The controls are not for beginners, but they are simple to understand and to master.

The battery life isn't bad either. The DI2 uses 4 AA batteries, and it uses them efficiently.

For cleaning the Decadent Indulgence 2, I would recommend alcohol wipes or warm water and soap. The toy itself isn't waterproof, so beware of getting it too wet!

I store the toy in a plastic-y material makeup bag, and then place that within a toolbox with my other toys (which are stored in the same kind of bags). The material of the bag I keep it in makes sure that nothing comes in and sticks to the toy while it's being stored.

Water-based lubes are the only lubes that I've used with the DI2, and they work well with it. The material of the toy hasn't been disturbed by my other toys when they are accidentally placed next to each other. My other toys are made of a jelly material, though, so the toy may not be safe around toys of another material.

I had a positive experience with the Decadent Indulgence 2, and I hope that I get to have many more positive experiences with it.
