The straps are elastic and work well for putting it on; however, it only goes so far, as movement (if you are out and about) will end up shifting this and moving it out of place. The straps are also made of a porous stretchy fabric that, if washed, would have to be scrubbed slightly to get out anything stuck in any nooks and crannies.

For such a small butterfly it does burn through battery life fairly quickly. After just fiddling with it and playing with the different modes it had already started to lose power and had to have its batteries replaced so it could last for its night out on the town.

It is great for a tease out in public, easily hidden under clothes as it is not bulky. Being handsfree, the wireless remote comes in handy to use yourself or to give to your partner to surprise you throughout the night.

The straps on the butterfly are elastic and fairly sturdy. The wings that they are connected to, however, are made of the same silicone that the butterfly itself is made of; it is soft and squishy and delicate against the skin. The downside to this is that the wings are not made to be stretched and manipulated in the ways the straps connected to them are. When push comes to shove, the straps will not break; instead, the wings on the poor butterfly will.

The first time the butterfly was used, while being removed for the day, the straps tore through one of the butterfly's wings that it was connected to. Sad to say, the butterfly never fluttered its wings again. On the plus side, the vibrator bullet inside is removable from the butterfly and can be used separately. In this case, this was a very expensive bullet.
