Use

I think the best use for this is clitoral stimulation. The lusciously soft yet firm silicone sleeve is pleasantly bendable, lending itself to the greatest secret of this toy--if you add a little lube, you can basically replicate the sensation of cunnilingus!

The rubbery tip is flexible and rounded off nicely. It extends about an inch beyond the vibrating bullet, and therefore can be pivoted around on a single point...being female-bodied, that special point for me was my clit. Other great "pivot points" would be nipples, the anus (externally only--it's called the "little" secret touch for a reason, it's too small for internal use!) and my partner liked it when I used it on the underside of his cockhead.

I liked using it on my clit when I was reading some hot erotica by myself--I don't know that it would be the best to use during PIV sex, as it's good for a slow build up of orgasm on its own...not necessarily the hot extra stimulation you might need to get you over the edge. I mean, unless you're having really lovely, slow, sensual PIV sex...

Also, if your partner's tongue is getting tired whilst downtown, swap in the Little Secret Touch for a few minutes. I'm serious, with enough lube it really does feel like a vibrating tongue.

Material / Texture

Tantus provides us with yet another wonderful and body-safe toy. The Little Secret Touch is a hard plastic bullet encased in a 100% silicone sleeve. The silicone is nice and soft, yet firm--not squishy like a jelly rubber toy. If you need rigidity, you can pull the sleeve off and just use the silver bullet.

I have a weird oral fixation, and I like to chew on rubbery things. I tried putting this in my mouth. And while it is relatively soft, it is way too tough to bite through. Good to keep in mind if your puppydog gets at it, I suppose.

Because it's silicone, don't use a silicone-based lube with it! That will make the material break down. No fun! Try using a great water-based lube from EF!

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is pretty small, and cute in its own way. Here's a photo of it alongside 2 pennies for size comparison.

I would generally say that this toy is best suited for a beginner; it's quite small and non-threatening in design. Also, it's not very phallic-looking at all...something I can appreciate. It's very easy to hide, because it's so small--actually, I misplaced it for a while, but it was just underneath some other stuff in the toybox!

You can travel with it in the bottom of a bag, but I'd take the batteries out first--it's easy to turn on accidentally if the button is pushed by anything.

It's powered by "N" button batteries, which is borderline dealbreaker. I'm an environmental scientist, so it's usually pretty important to me that I can recharge my toy's batteries--I hate throwing them out! However, it came with the batteries (so I didn't have to go search for them) and they did last quite a while. I used this toy many times and didn't have to change the batteries.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy is pretty simple to work. It operates with a single-push button on the end. Push it once, it turns on. Push it again, it turns off. Congratulations, you have graduated from Silver Bullet University!

The vibrations are located in the middle of the bullet--if they were closer to the tip, it would be a lot more practical, I feel, seeing how the toy is designed to be pushed against the body at the tip. I would have liked for it to have more than just one speed, for some variety.

It's nice and quiet--great when you live on-campus, like I do!

It's got a small purple o-ring around the bottom, where you screw off the cap. This ostensibly prevents water from entering. I've used it several times in the shower, and no water was inside of the battery compartment afterwards. But in general, I think it's best to stick to perceptions of toys as "splashproof," rather than full-on "waterproof"...something about submerging an electronic in your bathwater just doesn't strike me as a good idea.

Care and Maintenance

The sleeve is 100% silicone. It can be removed (with some effort...putting it back on requires a bit of effort also) and boiled to sterilize. Don't try to boil the whole toy.

For basic cleaning, you can just wipe it down with hot soapy water.

Like I said before, don't use this with silicone lubes. Silicone-based lubricant can degrade the material and destroy your toy.

It's a little bit of a lint-magnet, so I'd recommend rinsing it each time you use it, and maybe storing it in a small plastic bag.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The packaging was unremarkable enough that I have completely forgotten what it looked like. I threw it out shortly after getting the toy, thus, it was not really suitable for a gift or storage box. I'd assume it was basic, plastic blister-pack toy packaging.
Follow-up commentary
This toy is still about the same. Nothing earth-shattering. I have found it to be a good one to use on female-bodied partners who are new to vibration. It really does work to replicate a tongue when lubed up! I still think this is one of the better buys when it comes to smaller vibrators. Replacing the tiny batteries has been a real pain, though.
