The all new 6 function vibe with 7 settings???
Not the greatest tool in the box but a nice addition and a nice alternative to standard bullets and minis.

Pros
Waterproof, rechargeable, easy cleaning, multiple settings.
Cons
A bit loud, could be stronger, could have a bit more texture to it.
The Voila is a small fairly discrete rechargeable vibe being offered by Cal Exotics. It comes nicely packaged in a checkbook style (you remember checks, right) box with a shaped cutout space for the vibe and space below for the adapter.
That's right, I said rechargeable. It's a "green" toy although it is offered only in black or pink. It claims a full charge in 3 hours, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it came charged and actually lasted at full strength for over 20 minutes the first try and without a recharge went a solid additional 30 minutes on its second use. We thought about "riding" it out and seeing how long the initial charge would last but we decided last minute to plug it in and give it a full charge lest we have catastrophic buzz out at the moment most needed.
The vibe is small enough to fit in the palm of a small hand and is shaped somewhere between a pager (remember pagers) and a computer mouse, with a bit of a point to one end. On what I suppose is the back face is a small 1/2 inch long protrusion designed to apply direct contact with the clitoris, which it seems to do a decent job of. On the front face are two rubberized waterproof buttons one marked with a square for off or stop, the other marked F for function (purely a guess there). Pressing the F button takes you through the "7" varying vibration modes. As best I can tell and discern setting 3 and setting 7 are identical a high speed vibration. The remaining settings include low, medium, and high constant vibration and 3 varying patterns of vibration. The vibration isn't mind blowing but it is good, though a bit noisier than one would expect based on power. It's a bit louder than a vibrating cell phone on high. The volume is in part the rigid plastic construction which just throws sound.
It is constructed of simple plastic and with what they describe as "velvet touch" which basically means not smooth shiny plastic, but it really as no notable texture. While it doesn't really required much if any lube for use it does not appear to be a material that that would react poorly to any lubes, as is typical of plastic toys.
The adapter is similar to most cell phone plugs wand attached in similar fashion. On the flat end of the toy is a rubber peal back which keeps the toy waterproof, and behind it is the input for the adapter. The adapter itself has a charge indicator light which turns red while charging and then green when complete, which is a nice little feature.
Cleaning is fairly easy as it is waterproof, but fluids do have a bit of a hiding place where the buttons are so keep that in mind while cleaning. Soap and hot water, or toy cleaner, or alcohol wipes should do just fine here.

Experience
By the shape, I believe this toy was designed to work point up (at the clitoris) but really can be placed and used at any angle. We found it could be used as an extension of regular manual play of as more of a job specific item, and is small and out of the way enough to be used easily during penetration as well. We found our most enjoyment with the wife relaxing comfortably in front of me between my legs and facing away so I could reach around and do all the work. By all means take this advice and feel more then free to try any way you like, it really is a fairly versatile little toy.
Follow-up commentary

If I could raise this to a 4.5 I would do so. It's still not quite a 5 star but it's pretty close. It rarely needs recharging, provides very good vibrations and can be used alone, or with other toys, and partners.
It has been tested now fully waterproof, and even insert-able, though recovery could prove interesting if it moves around too much.

Thank you for viewing Voila – clitoral vibrator discontinued review page!
Nice review!
We agree I think it is so well constructed that it hampers its own power.
