I was really surprised when I got this toy in the mail. The packaging was the first thing to catch my eye. It's very pretty and looks high quality, and it definitely doesn't look like the other $15 dollar vibrators I've gotten.

My first impression was how smooth and flexible this toy is. If you like toys that are hard and stiff, this may not be a good choice. This toy is stiff enough to move in and out while playing, but still flexible to bend. It's also very smooth to the touch with no lines, bumps, or "veins." It does feel very unrealistic, but that wasn't an issue for me. There was a very faint plastic scent to the toy which was removed after washing.

I found the dial easy to use while playing, except if you get too wet, it can become slippery and hard to dial. The White Heat is the quietest toy I've had so far! Noise is something I worry about since I don't live on my own, but not with this one. I still keep the TV on for background noise, but it's probably not even needed. Even when the toy is cranked all the way to its highest speed, it's not very loud.

The White Heat is waterproof and I didn't have any problems with it while under water.

Since this toy is TPR, it's important to wash it before and after every use. Like with any toy, if you plan on using it with a friend, make sure to use a condom. I personally plan on storing it in the box it came in. TPR seems to attract fuzz and dust more than other toys, so I wouldn't recommend leaving out in the open or in a drawer.
