this is a pretty fun product. So many ways to add some spice to your love life, or enjoy yourself where not previously possible. I just wish it was not priced so high. I think it is over priced for what you get.
This remote controlled vibrating egg can be used like a ben wa ball. Insert into orifice, and your off to work, shopping, school, or just about anywhere. If you have every been worried about getting horny and not having a vibrator with you. This is the answer.
You can make it even more exciting by giving the remote to someone else to control. When ever my wife and I have somewhere to go, she takes the egg and I get the remote.
This works best as an internal stimulator. If you have a really sensitive g-spot, this will do a good job at pleasing you. If you have to have your clit played with, I would look somewhere else. This is for couples or solo fun. You can use it anywhere, but it is more for on the go kind of fun.
Lets start with the bullet. The interior of the bullet is made from plastic. The plastic is covered on the outside with silicone. The silicone is silky smooth, with no smell or taste. There is a seem around the bullet where it comes apart, you can feel it with your fingers. However it cant be felt once inside. There is a slight design on the outside of the bullet, in the form of 4 lines running front to back. They are barely raised above the surface of the bullet. The lines do not add much to the stimulation.
The remote is made from plastic. It is almost entirely smooth, with the exception of a line going around the remote. It starts at the front and goes down one side to the back, then back up the other side.
The design is basic with this one. The bullet is about 2 1/2 inches long, not counting the tail. The tail adds another 2 1/2 inches. The bullet has about an 1 1/4 inch diameter. It is sized for beginners as well as the more advanced. This weighs in at 2 1/4 ounces with the batteries.
The remote is 3 inches long and about 1 1/4 inches wide. It has a hourglass shape to it. This hourglass shape makes it comfortable to hold. It fits nicely in your pocket or purse. The remote weighs in at just under 1 ounce.
The bullet holds 2 N sized batteries. I have had really good luck with N sized batteries. Plus they are easy to find around here. The remote holds a 23A 12V. Not a battery I have seen laying around. I wish they had kept all the batteries the same.
The remote has 2 buttons, one one/off and one for the functions. Like other toys from Cal exotics, the buttons light up in a light blue neon glow. This makes it easy to use in the dark. There are 6 patterns that can be cycled through with a touch of the function button. After the 6th, they start over.
pattern one: low vibration-steady, not easily heard if bullet was laying in the open.
pattern two: medium vibration-steady, can hear if it was laying in the open, would not be able to hear under the clothes.
pattern three: high vibration-steady, might be able to hear under clothes if standing close to you, but if background noise was about average you would still be safe.
pattern four: starts as a low pulsing vibration that gets faster/closer together and more intense, this is louder then the third pattern. it might be heard in the office or restaurant. would probably be safe in a bar or night club.
pattern five: about the same as pattern four, but more intensity and power. With this pattern you want to make sure that the noise lever around you does not die down. If it does you will need to be reaching for your cell phone and turning off your bullet.
pattern six: same as above, but every thing is faster and vibrations are set on high. This one is slightly louder then pattern five.
The remote has range of about 15 feet. This is the furthest we have been able to make it work. Now ofcourse this could have something to do with interference, so you might not get the same distance. But it is definitely a far enough distance to use the remote on your SO and sit back and watch what happens.
The bullet is waterproof, making cleaning easy. We wash ours with some soap and warm water. You can use toy cleaner or wipes also. You should not need to clean the hand held remote, but a simply wipe down with a toy wipe should do the trick.
Because the bullet has a outer layer of silicone, you should not use silicone lubes. Stick with water based. I would also take the batteries out of at least the remote, the buttons are super easy to hit, turning on your toy in the drawer.
The box it came with can double as a storage device. But I find it too bulky to store our bullet in. We just keep ours in the drawer. It does pick up lint and dust pretty easy, but a quick rinse will restore her to brand new condition.
This comes in a simple cardboard box. There are pictures of the toy on the outside of the box. Along with Cal Exotics marketing ploy on the toy. So it is not very discreet. I would not leave it laying around. There where also some instructions included inside the box.
The battery did not last very long. I am unsure if it is just the remote battery or all the batteries. We only had about 30 minutes of play. I do not know if this is due to cheap batteries that came with the unit, or if something turned on the remote in the drawer. Both are good possibility's. I have to go on a hunt for the 12v battery for the remote. We have packages of the N size laying around for other bullets my wife uses. It would be nice if there was a switch on the side of the remote to turn off the power to the buttons. Then you would not have to worry so much about turning on the button by accident.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it3 months after original review
This is still a fun toy to break out every once in a while. I just wish the batteries would last longer. At first I thought I was leaving something on. But it is just a battery junkie, it eats them as fast as I can put them in. This can be an expensive habit. So we don't use it very often. That being my only grip, this is still a good toy. Just be prepared to spend a lot on battery upkeep.
