This vibe is great for someone who is interested in trying out a multiple stimulation vibrator, or for someone who is ready for something beyond a basic vibe. The Pearl Dreams Pleaser is a triple stimulator - it has wonderful little nubs in a heart shape for your clit, a raised heart to stimulate your anal region, and an insertable shaft of a very non-intimidating size.

The Pearl Dreams is a small vibrator covered in a TPR sleeve. The sleeve didn't have any sort of smell or taste at all - one of my favorite things about TPR - and is giving enough to be a little floppy on the "wings" of the toy and to transmit the vibrations moderately well through the shaft area of the toy. TPR can't be disinfected, only cleaned (use toy cleaner or warm soapy water) so you always need to use a condom if you're passing around toys made of TPR. This can pose a problem with unconventionally shaped toys, like this one, which don't really fit well in a condom. I did take one for the team and test it inside a latex glove and it worked just fine, if you really must share it with someone. This toy will work with both silicone and water based lubes.

The design is great in theory. Unlike other reviewers, I found that the nubs and raised heart hit me perfectly where they were supposed to. Unfortunately the vibrations didn't transfer well to the further parts of the toy (read: my clit) so it felt sort of silly to be sitting there with slightly tingly wings covering my nether regions.

I like smaller toys - I'm no size queen - so this one was perfect. I think it would be a great beginner toy - it's a size almost anyone should be able to enjoy comfortably. It comes in a little plastic see through case so it's not the most discreet toy in the world, but you can always keep it in the box and under your bed, in your toy box, or your drawer - the size makes it relatively easy to hide, even if it isn't as discreet as it could be. It's also waterproof, so you could stash it in your bathroom, as well.

The Pearl dreams has two speeds - a medium and a hard vibration, no pulses. You click between them using the button on the end of the toy. This was where my problem came in - if there is any fiddling at all with the button area - even just moving the toy around - the vibrations pause. I'm not sure why, but the manufacturers definitely didn't think that one through.

The vibration is mostly centered in the shaft of this toy. Very little actually makes it to the clit stimulator and virtually nothing to the anal area of this toy. If you're rocking it, though, it does provide some nice sensation, just not vibration.

The toy is super quiet - I tried it out once on the bed and my Husband was sitting at his desk facing the other way and didn't know I'd turned it on. Pleasant surprise for him, and relieving for me, as I had some houseguests. I also smuggled it into the bathroom and tried it in the bath - it's virtually silent underwater. I love this toy for that reason alone!

This is an easy to to take care of. Just keep it clean with soapy water or toy cleaner, dry it off, and put it in your toybox or back in its case. Be sure to keep it away from your other TPR toys. I also recommend drying it with the vibrator removed from the sleeve, just in case, especially if you've used it in the bath. Silicone and water based lubes are both just fine with this toy - just stay away from the oil based lubes and you'll be fine.
