Squirmy is a durable, flexible, well-priced toy that has a great design and is non-threatening for beginners. Its functions are varied and it can keep up with you as you explore yourself and your likes and dislikes. I highly recommend this toy for first-timers!

Pros
Waterproof, easy to clean, durable, cordless, easy to use
Cons
Picks up dirt/fuzz easily, can be noisy when used underwater
This is a great toy for beginners with dual stimulation. A lot of dual stimulation toys are intimidating to new mastubators, due to length and design. But the G-spot is cute, plain and simple. The shaft is short, it has no little animal shapes, and the clitoral stimulator is simple and remarkably flexible.
The Squirmy is aptly named; the head of the shaft rotates and the direction in which it rotates can be changed with the tap of a button. The buttons themselves are very easy to figure out: one set is for the shaft, with three levels of speed rotation, the other set is for the clitoral stimulator with three settings of power. In the center is the button that changes the rotation direction.
This was my first penetration toy, so I really appreciated the smooth lines of the toy and the levels of rotation and vibration. I could start off slowly and work my way up with my confidence. I also found the toy small enough to take without causing me pain or discomfort. In every way, Squirmy was fun instead of scary!
Squirmy is soft silicone and very smooth. It has a rubbery texture that does, unfortunately, attract fuzz and bits of things that stick to it. It's completely waterproof and submersible, and very very flexible!
The flexibility makes this toy really fun, because you can actually be pretty rough with it. I've thrusted pretty hard with it and bent the clitoral arm around pretty far and the motors have never faltered or weakened. The head of the shaft is flat and as the name would suggest, is perfect for gentle g-spot stimulation. As you slide the toy in and out of your vagina, it gently massages against your g-spot and curves nicely against your clitoris.
I actually recommend using the toy without lubrication, because it can get rather slick with even a tiny bit of lube and you lose some of the pressure and sensation when it's sliding around a bit. I prefer it just a tiny bit rougher than it is with lube.
I love the design of the Squirmy. The flexibility and placement of the head and clitoral tickler means that you can be a bit rough on this toy with no problems. The base and the layout of the control buttons also makes it very easy to change settings.
The best feature of the Squirmy is possibly an unintended one, but still great. Because of the firmness of the base and the positioning of the panel, you can be in a pretty wide variety of positions with this toy. I've sat on it over a pillow cowgirl-style, I've come from behind doggy-style, and I've been plain old missionary. Squirmy never let me down or felt/sounded like it was straining.
Squirmy is great once you get going; it slides smoothly in and out when you thrust and bends to fit your body. The buttons are never hard to figure out and because each has three levels, you'll never accidentally turn it completely off with one touch.
Squirmy has a pretty small and short shaft, which again makes it an ideal 'first toy' for beginners. I have a pretty small vaginal cavity, but Squirmy fills me up satisfyingly and hits my g-spot easily. The clitoral tickler may or may not hit you just right, but it's close enough and bendy enough to get the job done.
The controls are very easy to use. There's a button for each level of power, and you control the movement of the shaft and the vibrations of the clitoral stimulator separately. There's a single button that changes the direction of the shaft rotation. All of the buttons are on the base unit. It uses 3 AAA batteries, and goes through them pretty slowly, so don't worry too much about it dying on you abruptly.
This toy is completely waterproof, but actually a little noisy underwater. I took it into the bath and the vibrations reverberated in the water with a really deep hum that may or may not have been audible outside the bathroom.
Because it's waterproof and silicone, it's very easy to to clean. Just a dunk in hot water and a wipe-down with soap and you're good to go. Alternatively, I use wet wipes on my toys with no adverse effects. Because this is made of silicone, silicone lubricant is NOT appropriate; use water-based if you're going to use it at all.
Squirmy really does shine in it's versatility as a personal toy. It's soft enough to be comfortable, but very durable and can take some rough movement. Mine's 3 years old now and still going strong, with no signs of wearing down, so I'd also say it's a great toy for a great price.
Storing Squirmy is a bit troublesome because the silicone is thinner than some toys and also attracts dust and other bits of dirt, so you can't really toss in it a drawer and pull it out again without cleaning it off. Mine also got a bit warm one day when it ended up in a patch of sunlight and the silicone melted a tiny bit, so keep it out of the sun! I would recommend a box of some kind, or a bag like the kind you store shoes in.
This toy is silicone, which means silicone lube is a no-no. Water-based only!
It's a dual-stimulation toy, so while you can use it with other toys, you don't really need to. I have occasionally used a clitoral stimulation toy pressed against the little arm of the Squirmy to up the power of the vibrations a bit, but that required a lot of manual dexterity on my part and more than a little creative positioning. It's a solo toy meant to cover all your needs in one go.
Squirmy came in your standard plastic bubble packaging, so nothing fancy and nothing that doubled as a storage or gift box. If you intend to give Squirmy as a gift, prepare to repackage it. I don't actually recall if it came with instructions, but the control panel was pretty straight forward, so it's not hard to figure out. The bubble packaging was not really discreet; it looked exactly like what it was, a toy.
I personally think Squirmy would make a good gift to a younger woman who might not have experienced g-spot stimulation before. Because the controls of the clitoral arm and the shaft are separate, you can turn one off if it's too much at once for you. This makes it a good toy for beginners.
As I've said, I've enjoyed how versatile Squirmy is. It can take a lot of abuse without breaking down, and as my own sexual explorations grew, Squirmy was always able to keep up. It's a cute, solid toy for a great price that will last you a long time with proper care. It was my first dual-stimulation toy and I think it does a great job at exactly that. I highly recommended it to first-timers; we've all got to start somewhere, and Squirmy will be your guide!
I was really nervous selecting my first dual-stimulation toy. I'd never had a penetration toy before, and seeing all the various "monster" vibrators intimidated me. I was also slightly weirded out by the animal shapes; basically, browsing through the section filled me with a sense of confusion and anxiety as to what to pick.
Squirmy was cute! Cute color, non-threatening design, and it was reasonably priced. The reviews were positive, and so I cautiously ordered it. When it arrived, I had my first penetrative experience. Squirmy's smaller size was perfect for me; I had no discomfort and additionally had my first g-spot orgasm. I tucked Squirmy under my pillow and that is where it has stayed to this day!
I'm glad I went with it for my first, because I think it's not just a great toy, it's a reassuring toy. It doesn't have alien-looking beads, animals, shapes, nor does it really resemble a penis (which can actually be kind of scary in and of itself if you're a total virgin like me). As a result, I wasn't scared of it and had a really good time with it. As I experimented with it more, Squirmy continued to get me off in new and exciting ways and really gave me a lot more confidence and information about what I like and don't like sexually. I can't recommend it enough as a "first toy", because it really is like my sweet little silicone friend who has taken me on a lovely little journey of discovery.

Squirmy, you are still my go-to buddy for penetration. Every time I think I've run out of ways to push this toy, it takes the journey with me! I've been looking at other toys by the same company in the hopes of finding one that pleases me like Squirmy does, but I don't think anything is going to unseat Squirmy any time soon.
