Squeaky Sally Seal "Swims" Shallowly
Sally's best trick lies within her nose, but her skinny flippers on the tip of the shaft provide little, if any, stimulation at all. Though the design is absolutely adorable and the material top notch, don't let looks alone be what compels you to make this purchase. It's a strangely shaped vibrator, no doubt.

Pros
Powerful clitoral stimulator, silicone body, easy controls.
Cons
Short Shaft, shallow insertion, noisy rotation, squeaky handle
Sally the Seal wants to dive in to your ocean, but make sure it's nice and wet down there first, otherwise Sally won't be venturing in very far. If you are a seal lover, you might go ga-ga over this one, but I can't soundly recommend it for someone who wants to spend their money more wisely on a dual-action rabbit vibrator that is intended for simultaneous vaginal and clitoral stimulation. There are definitely better ones out there that will conform to more anatomies than I presume this one will. It did make me climax, but it took quite some time and plenty of fantasizing about a big fat penis; so it wasn't a total waste, but it's not going to be my go-to rabbit vibe either.
MATERIAL & PACKAGING
Sally's main body is molded from smooth, seamless, body-safe, toxin-free, odorless and tasteless silicone, available in your choice of gray, pink, or blue. It does have some drag to it, so a bit of water-based lube will be necessary at first and Fun Factory provides you with a small sample packet of their very own house brand water-based lubricant called "Toy Fluid", which is lightweight, non-sticky, has a slight odor, and a bitter taste to it. Do not use it if you have sensitivities to glycerin. The handle of the toy is made out of an average density plastic and allows for the toy to stand upright.
SIZE & DESIGN
With Sally, I felt as if I got the short end of the stick, literally. This is not a toy for those who enjoy deep penetration via thrusting and pounding. Rather, this toy's design is more for grinding against the outer labia and the clitoris. The general idea is that of a seal playing in the water waves, with its flippers extended straight up in the air. The lower body of the seal is the thickest portion then it tapers until it reaches the tip/flippers. It's very cute and reflects the playfulness that Fun Factory is known for. The face and flipper carvings are detailed yet smooth, and do not make cleaning any more difficult.
Measuring 9 inches long, it's not a small toy. Even though it has a 4-inch shaft, not all of that is insertable due to a combination of factors, specifically the thick base and a rigidly fixated clitoral stimulator, which came up just below my clitoris rather than on or above it. Here is a picture comparing it to my go-to vibe. That bulge is like a blockade, preventing the clitoral stimulator from directly hitting its target, at least on my anatomy.
OPERATION & PERFORMANCE
This toy takes 4-AA batteries, inserted in to the back panel of the handle. It's easy to insert the batteries, but I'm not a fan of the style of battery compartment which has to slide on with accuracy and felt as if it was about to come off during playtime. It's also a very large handle in my opinion. In my hand, the plastic creaked and squeaked as I worked the toy on my body. Needless to say, that was annoying.
The main body of Sally "twists"/rotates while the clitoral stimulator "shakes"/vibrates. There is a separate "power" button indicated by a red light when turned on. Below that are two vertical dials that can be used together or separately to increase the intensity of the vibrations or the speed of the rotation, respectively. Either can be tripped easily when you don't really want to use but one, so keep that in mind. The rotation is not reversible and there are no vibration patterns other than increasing from low to high speed.
The rotation feature is by far the loudest as a network of beads twist around the base. These do feel nice against the labia and vulva. The mini bullet in the clitoral stimulator is very strong and probably just as loud as the rotations, but it's a different kind of high-pitched constant buzzing. Unfortunately, it didn't hit my clitoris quite right, in part because of the bulging base of the toy.
MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
This toy is not waterproof, so keep the plastic handle away from water and just clean off the silicone portion with warm water and antibacterial soap, toy wipes, or toy cleaner. Do not boil or put in the dishwasher. Store away from heat and light.

Experience
I totally fell for the cuteness of this toy, which is great marketing on the company's behalf; however I was very disappointed in how it felt. It just didn't fit me as well as I hoped it would, in fact worse than most rabbit vibrators that I've tried. The combination of the unyielding clitoral bullet, the noisiness, and the creaking plastic handle just made for a so-so experience. It took me much longer to orgasm than had I just used a dildo and a bullet.
Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
Sally Seal's nifty tricks weren't enough for me to train her to jump right through the "hoop" and straight to the garbage. The shape of this toy ended up bothering me more than anything, with it's wide base and skinny little everything else.

Great review. Strangely, I think this would work for people who like more shallow penetration. I feel more sensation in the lower half of my vagina, so this would probably feel great for me. It is a weird shape though.

thanks for posting this review, great job and interesting looking toy that i never noticed before!

Nice review---a tapered shaft is never going to be a win for me, even though the styling of this is cute. Sorry it didn't work for you either.

I've got this gal too, in grey also. Your title seriously sums it ALL up! I am planning on giving it 3 stars as well.
