Spherical Purple Bliss.
The verdict? The Bliss is a cute, fun toy, it just didn't knock my socks off. The vibrations are not to my taste and I just feel like it wasn't a good fit for me because of this. I did give it 4 stars because it is a fairly well made and good looking toy. The loss of a star has more to do with my personal toy preferences than any fault in the toy itself.

Pros
Silky finish, beautiful color, remote control, good for your PC muscles.
Cons
Writing on the remote wears off quickly, vibrations are high pitched.
The Bliss is manufactured by California Exotic Novelties, as part of their Couture Collection. It is a remote controlled bullet egg vibe, and the egg portion comes with a charger, adapter cord and a tiny little remote (it is 1-1/4" wide and 2" long, about the size of a match book) It charges by just setting the egg into the charger, no connectors of any kind, it just sits in the little cup shaped indent. Then you plug it into the wall. Pretty cool and ergonomic. Once fully charged, it will hold a standby charge for two days. The remote comes with a small 12v battery and has two buttons, one on/off button and one to cycle through intensities/patterns. The on/off button is smaller than the patterns/intensity button so if you are using it where you can't see it (such as in your pocket or under a table) if you just remember that it will be helpful. The charge cord included with the toy even comes with a standard plug for American use and a European two prong plug. So you can bring your Bliss on an international trip!
The instructions come in loads of languages, but if English is your main language than you'll only really use pages 8 through 11. When I first got the Bliss, I even read the manual since I have never actually owned a remote controlled vibe (bad sex toy junkie! Bad!) and I wasn't sure what the first thing I should do would be. It didn't specifically say to do so, but with most rechargeable items (other sex toys, cell phones, electric toothbrushes) you want to charge it for a good 24 hours before you use it, to give the battery a...um...charge memory? Well if you've ever had a cell phone you'll know what I mean. So I did this, and when it starts off, the charge indicator lights up red and when it is finished it turns green.
The egg bullet has a retrieval string that is 4-1/2" long and made of nylon. The egg is 1-1/2" in diameter and 2-3/4" long and is made of pretty dusky purple/blue colored ABS plastic with a velvet coat finish. The charger is also made of the same purple/blue material, as is the controller.
The Bliss can be used in a couple different ways, you can use it as an external vibe on your clit, or pop it inside your pussy and wear it around. You can use the remote control by yourself, or give it to your partner/lover/friend to tease you with! The packaging states that the range between the egg and the remote will work up to 16 feet and we found this to be accurate.
The Bliss has a total of 3 vibration settings (low-medium-high) and the low is incredibly quiet. When inserted in my pussy I can't hear it at all, nor could my partner. Medium is also fairly low on the noise scale, but high can definitely be heard, even when it's inserted. It also has several patterns, such as escalating, fast pulse and slow pulse.
The instructions advised me to wash it with warm water and soap before and after each use. Now I just feel like a good scrub after I use it is just fine! But do wash it before you use it for the first time. I usually use antibacterial soap, or Dr. Bronners since we have it right next to the sink.
Water based or silicone based lubricants are best to use with the Bliss, but the instructions do specifically warn against using oil based lubes.
The Bliss is not really designed to be an anal toy...I think it would be all too easy for the egg to go into your rectum far enough that the string could get lost. There is no flange of any kind to act as a stopper, and keep the egg outside your body at the base. Which is pretty much the standard safe anal toy feature. So...yeah, don't put this one in your bum.

Experience
I played with the Bliss both solo and with a partner, and while it is a kind of fun toy it hasn't won my heart. The vibrations are super high pitched, like surface vibrations which really aren't my taste. I enjoyed the feeling of the egg in my pussy, and the low vibrations felt nice, not mind blowing, but pleasant. Medium and high was just tickley and annoying to me. I think that wearing the egg around will be beneficial for my Kegel muscles, the construction of the egg with the string is very similar to that of a traditional Kegel exerciser. This will probably be my main use for the egg! When we (my partner and I) played with it together, it was kind of hard to be secretive about it because it takes some time to learn how many times to press the intensity/pattern button to get it where you want (such as pulse on pulse off, or just steady high) so my guy had to keep asking "is it on?" or "what is it doing now?"
I think we'll get better at it with some practice though. Really the only indication of what the vibe is doing inside your partner is the blinking green light on the remote, which means it's on.
When I used the Bliss solo, I couldn't get off with it because the vibrations were too high pitched and not very strong or penetrating. Trust me, I tried all my moves too...though the egg itself is very easy to hold and is a really nice size, texture and shape for your hand.
When using it internally, a little glob of lube helped me insert it, since it is a slightly above average size to just pop in when I wasn't already super-aroused. I also tried wearing it against my clit, which did feel good while I was walking around. The only bummer with that though, is that the egg is large enough that it makes a little bulge in my pants.

Follow-up commentary

I do not really care for this egg vibe much anymore. I have tried to find a way to make it work for us, but the vibration style is just not my style, nor my partners. One thing that I tried, that I was nearly positive would make it amazing, was wearing it vaginally during anal sex. The vibes are just SO high pitched though, that it was really uncomfortable. : (
Also, the writing wearing off the control pack was a bummer. Especially after I saw the price tag on this toy. If it was a $40 range vibe, it wouldn't be so terrible. But as a luxury priced toy? So sad.
The color is cute as hell, but this isn't a toy I really use anymore.

Sounds like it would be fun worn out to the resto. Great review, too bad the vibes weren't to your liking.
