The Spellbound is a moderately powerful vaginal vibrator with a small clitoral part that needs a little help with power and position. You may have to explore and discover how to make it work for you. The vibrations are easily felt inside and the shaft glides in and out easily and pleasantly. Good for trying a rabbit-style vibe for the first time.
The Spellbound Stud Double Jack is a rabbit-style vibrator used to stimulate the vaginal walls and the clitoris at the same time. The vibrations are more easily felt vaginally than on the clitoris. I can only suppose that other rabbit vibrators perform better in terms of clitoral simulation. It can also be used as a dildo and the material is firm enough to allow for some interesting thrust action. With the clitoral attachment, the toy could also be used anally as well, but since PVC cannot be sterilized, I would absolutely not do it without a condom.
I would recommend this toy to people like me who have never had a rabbit vibrator and are curious about the dual stimulation. It satisfied my curiosity and I feel more comfortable with the idea of buying an expensive rabbit vibrator.
You can pretty much use this toy anywhere as long as you have the means to wash it. The vibrator is waterproof, and you can take it in the shower with you and the bath if you so desire.
The vibrator is made of PVC, polyvinyl chloride, a type of plastic. It does not contain phthalates and the plastic is quite firm with only a little bit of give. The plastic appears really thick and very resistant. The plastic has a faint fruity odor when it is smelled within one inch of the material.
The shaft is almost realistic with a well-defined head and a number of supposedly veins to justify small ridges. When used as a dildo, the ridges are hardly felt, but the sensations of the toy as a dildo is very pleasant. It does not feel like a smooth dildo, even if I would not consciously feel the faint ribbing. The clitoral attachment is formed like a soft-edged cone and cannot be moved easily. You can manipulate it, but it will return to its initial position after you release it.
The toy is pretty, I like that it is not too realistic for my taste. It is eye-catchy, and is not discreet at all.
The shaft has an insertable length of 4 1/4”, but that includes ½” that is beyond the tip of the clitoral attachment. Since the clitoral attachment is really firm and is very hard to move, the insertable length is more like 3 ¾”. The shaft also has a diameter of 1 3/8” at the largest point, where the motor is, and is 1” in diameter at the thinnest point, right beneath the head. There is no small bullet or motor in the clitoral section of the toy.
The first two insertable inches of this toy are a little bit smaller in girth and have more give than the rest of the toy. When some pressure is applied, you can feel that there is a small empty space underneath the material. I believe it prevents the base of the head to be too firm and uncomfortable.
All in all, the toy is not particularly large, and overall the vibrations can be satisfying. Beginners will be able to appreciate it more than advanced rabbit users.
The Spellbound Stud has variable speeds that go from very low to somewhat intense, but it's not overwhelming. It gets the job done, but it took a while and I had to give it a little help. The vaginal vibrations are easily felt from the lowest settings and I was impressed since I usually don't feel the vibrations so well.
However, the clitoral piece does not provide a lot of stimulation and if you can get it to touch your clitoris, it will be more teasing than anything else. I need a strong pressure and vibrations to get a clitoral orgasm and if I tried to push the toy is to apply more pressure I obtained two unwanted results. The first one is that if you push the toy inside, the motor will lose some vibration intensity. The second one is that I felt poked by the tip of the rounded tip of the clitoral attachment.
The highest setting is somewhat loud, and it could be heard through a closed door as a light buzz if everything is quiet in the house. A speed in the medium range will not be heard through a door.
The vibration controls are operated by a dial base. The dial is turned on by turning the dial from the Low position in a clock-wise direction. The Low and High positions are conveniently inscribed at the bottom of the vibrator.
The battery case can be accessed by removing a screw cap. The battery cap has a ribbed texture all around it and makes it really easy to open. The dial also has the same ribbing, and makes it easy to use the dial with wet fingers. The toy works with two AA batteries that are not included in the package. There is no specific order to place the batteries in the compartment; you only need to put them in with opposite polarity.
There is a soft ring of plastic that seals the battery compartment when it is closed to make the toy waterproof. It works very well well, but I suggest that you wipe the water from the toy before you open the battery cap to prevent water from entering.
The vibrator can be washed with soap and water as well as an antibacterial sex toy cleaner. PVC is somewhat porous and cannot be sterilized, so you need to use a condom when sharing this toy or if you want to experiment anally with it. It is easy to stretch the edges of a condom over the clitoral part to completely cover the plastic part. Since the clitoral attachment cannot really move easily, the condom does not get in the way at all.
Since this is made of plastic, you can use water-based and silicone-based lubricants with this toy.
Just like any vibrating toys, keep it away from high humidity, heat and dust, and you will increase its longevity. The instructions recommended alkaline AA batteries and they should be removed after each use.
The toy came in a rectangular see-through plastic case, where it is highly in evidence. The main element on the box is the name of the toy written in large letters on all sides of the box. It's a functional clear plastic box and it's not something I would consider pretty or would on its own to give as a gift.
There is a little piece of paper inside the box that gives some instructions about opening the battery compartment and what type of batteries to use. The instructions are very concise and go straight to the point. At a first glance, having instructions on a little piece of paper looks cheap, but it's meant to be folded in the battery compartment when the toy is stored away.
I was not able to get an orgasm without giving it a little bit of manual help. Pushing it inside did not give satisfying results, so I tried another approach. When I leave the toy inside without touching it, the clitoral attachment stays a little distance away from my clitoris and I took advantage of that.
Without pressure, the vaginal vibrations were very nice and if I would manually masturbate, my hood and fingers would somewhat enter in contact with the vibrating tip. Once I tried this, I had an orgasm within 10 seconds. Considering that I had been playing for over 10 minutes that evening and 15 minutes the evening before that, I figured that I had found the most efficient way for me to get off with it. I was really happy with the strength of the orgasm; it did not feel like just a clitoral orgasm, not when it's backed up with the vibrating shaft.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
It's still a nice vibe that I like, but I have others that I prefer, so I do not take it out as often as the rest. Although, I found that if it was used after some other toy, my clitoris was more puffy and made a great cushion for the clitoral attachment. It felt much less pokey than it did as the first toy used to get the job done and I did not feel like I needed to get it closer to my clit by pushing on it.
It still works just as well, and I have also tried it anally with a condom covering the PVC completely. Since it cannot be sanitized, it would not be a good idea to skip the condom, unless you want to use it strickly for anal. The insertion was very easy, since the head or the veins are not felt particularly pronounced when used anally. In that area, I do not have a vibe that can do better than this one. My other vibes are either too large or not safe for anal use. (Edit: Right, I just remembered that the Purr could be also considered a vibe, but it's still mostly a dildo in my mind.)
It's still an interesting toy with a good price tag that gave me the chance to explore a few things like dual stimulation and straightforward anal vibrations.

I love the original spellbound stud curved jack it was my first realistic toy and the first could double as a dildo.
I had high hopes for this one, but my clit is pretty high up even the geewizard thing can't hit it I'm not sure if this one will fit me. :/
