Slimline Odyssey sex toy review
The Odyssey is a very simple and gentle toy. It would make a great "first" for sex toys or for those who are very sensitive and don't like penetration.

When I opened up the package, my first impression of the Slimline Odyssey was that it looked almost like beginner's sex toy|Sex toy for beginners - Sex Toys 101. It was light, small, and slender. Unlike the wonderfully built vagina, it's simple. It has a massaging base with little "fingers" and a penis-shaped shaft.
Knowing that size doesn't matter, I took the Odyssey out of its plastic casing and gave it an unassuming try. True to its advertising, it is an easy grip but it's not such an adventurous trip as the name suggests.
The vibrations are not necessarily weak, but they are light and gentle; very, very gentle. Almost disappointingly gentle. The cup-like fingers around the shaft definitely didn't vibrate strong enough (even on the highest setting), though the longer, penis shaped one did (but even on the highest setting, it still wasn't strong enough). I ended up having to use the longer part of the sex toy for clitoral stimulation. Even then, it took a very, very long time. In the end, I had to break out a different toy to finish.
The single three-way button, which lets the handler have control of the speed of vibration, is not as convenient as it sounds. There's a pause when turning from the highest speed to the lowest. So when I got going and wanted to play around with the different speeds, I switched from high to low and it was oh-oh-oh-it's gone.
Since it is waterproof, I tried it in the shower and it had the same result; it was too gentle.
The only enjoyable part of the toy was when I was having sex with my partner sideways. He put the toy on high and stuck it between my legs, massing my clit.

I wonder if it ever gets too slippery to hold, the grip area looks kind of small
