Shy violet sex toy review
If all you want is a good strong buzz on your clit, this toy might suit you fine. But if you want to combine it with other toys or stimulation it's likely to get in your way. I did find the vibration strength to be pretty robust and I liked the different settings and pulses.

This sex toy's description promises a lot in terms of ergonomic design and ease of use, and therefore my expectations for it were fairly high when it first arrived. Unfortunately, it really didn't live up to the hype.
In my opinion, this product's main flaw is in the design. Although it claims to be ergonomic, this really only applies if you always use the toy in one position and at a very specific angle, so there isn't much room for variation. You're supposed to be able to use it on both the smooth and the ridged sides, but it's really only angled for use on the ridged side. I found it very awkward when attempting to turn it over to apply pressure with the flat side. In addition, I also didn't care for the placement of the power button, which also controls the vibration settings. It's positioned on the upper side where your hand is holding on to it and it's very easy to accidentally hit the button. Ironically, it can also be difficult to find the button when you want to use it because it tends to blend in with the rest of the surface.
I found the Shy Violet to be bulky and awkward overall. It was also louder than I expected it to be based on the description, so don't get this toy if you're looking for something discreet. I would definitely not recommend this toy for partner sex, and I'm not particularly enthusiastic about it for solo play, either. I did find the vibration strength to be pretty robust and I liked the different settings and pulses. However, when I'm shopping for a clit vibrator I tend to prefer something smaller or at least more versatile.
