The Muse Massager by NS Novelties, a unique bunny-shaped clitoral vibrator, can be used in many different ways. It is great for pinpoint stimulation, directly or indirectly. Contained in each ear is a motor, and this is where the vibrations are strongest. To tease a little, one ear can be placed on either side of the vulva and trace the outer labia. Once aroused, one ear can be placed on either side of the clitoris. If one ear is on the left and one ear is on the right, the buttons and LED lights will be facing you. If one ear is on the top and one ear is on the bottom, the LED lights and buttons will be on the side, within reach of your thumb. I find this is the easiest way to hold the toy. It is easy to flip the toy to the other side if you are left-handed. Once it is being held this way, it can be twisted slowly to stimulate all sides of the clitoris or tapped up and down. The soft silicone creates a little drag, but prevents poking when in use. Alternatively, just one ear of the toy can be used to directly stimulate the clitoris. This toy could be used in any of the ways mentioned on nipples as well. This toy should not be inserted anywhere.

The Muse is a combination of plastic and silicone. The plastic is the bottom portion, and the silicone is the portion that will be touching your body. While plastic has a safety rating of 8/10, it is still nonporous, and phthalate-free. It acts as the base and handle for the toy. The part you will be using is silicone, and silicone has a safety rating of 10/10. It is one of the very safest materials. It is nonporous as well. This just means the material doesn't have little holes for bacteria to seep into. This makes it much cleaner and safe for sharing. Silicone actually repels dirt and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction. The silicone makes up the upper face and ears of the toy. I consider this to be a very safe and high-quality product.

Both materials are odorless and tasteless. The plastic is firm, smooth and somewhat reflective. The silicone is velvety, smooth and matte. The only real texture here is the eyes, which function as the buttons, and they only come in contact with your hand. The usable portion of this toy is totally smooth, making it suitable for beginners and advanced users, as well as people sensitive to textures. The rabbit face is firm and rigid, while the ears have some flex to them. This toy has very little drag.

The Muse has a charming and whimsical design. It is what appears to be a rabbit head. It begins with two flexible silicone ears, with a motor in the tip of each, and tapers out into a teardrop shape. There are two raised circles for 'eyes' which serve as the controls. When the toy is on, a ring around the eyes glow, and hidden 'eyebrows' appear and disappear randomly. The silicone is lavender and goes half way down the face of the toy. There is a charging port hole in the silicone on the back, and it is marked with a raised 'DC.' The plastic portion is white and there is a "nsn" logo on the back, just under the charging port where the silicone ends. Just below that, a ring runs all the way around the base of the toy, sectioning off the lower quarter of the head. It looks like a horizontal mouth. This lights up when the toy is on and flashes in sync to the patterns. The bottom of the plastic base is rounded, so the toy never really sits flat. It wobbles and rolls around, lending more to its believability as a child's toy. This makes it very discreet. Unless someone turned it on, they would not know what it was. It is small and easy to hide or take with you for travel. Since it is quite small, it is not intimidating. It would be great for beginners or advanced users. The shape works well in use. The rabbit ears provide excellent pinpoint stimulation. The base flares out and makes it easy to hold. The buttons seem to be in a convenient place and are not hard to press. The lights are amusing, but not distracting and they demonstrate the patterns nicely.

Muse comes with no instructions, so while the controls are easy to figure out, you will have to do a little experimenting. To turn it on, you can 'poke' either eye. Poking the left eye starts it at the first function. Poking the right eye starts it at the last function. After it is on, you can press either eye, the left will decrease intensity or go to the next pattern, and the right will increase intensity or go to the previous pattern. You can cycle through all the patterns to turn it off, or you can press and hold either eye for a few seconds. There are 10 different settings programmed in the toy.

If you press the left eye to turn on the toy, you will cycle up through the patterns starting at 1 and ending in 10. If you press the right eye to turn on the toy, you will cycle down through the patterns starting at 10 ending at 1.

The vibrations are located in each ear. Muse is a dual-motored massager. The vibrations feel deep, and fall somewhere between rumbly and buzzy. I put it at 4 vrooms, which means the toy has strong and easily felt vibrations that powerfully stimulate, but are not earth-shaking. Fortunately, it is only 2 bees, meaning it is a low, soft, white noise that cannot be heard through a closed door. This toy provides excellent pinpoint stimulation. It can be used in a variety of ways, and is strong and quiet.

This toy is rechargeable! It's a little scary plugging it in for the first time, since you find the "self-sealing" hole marked 'DC' and push the charger in. The hole is not entirely visible, so you take a bit of a chance pushing it in. You have to use quite a bit of force, and it is easy to bend the charger if it's not in the right place. Eventually you get the hang of it. The charger stays in securely when charging and it doesn't take long to get a full charge. A full charge will last you quite a while too!

The Muse's plastic/silicone combo is very easy to care for. To clean, you can wipe it down with an alcohol-free wet wipe, wash with soap and warm water or toy-cleansing spray and a wet washcloth. To sterilize, you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution. This toy has mechanical parts, so it cannot be boiled. It can be stored in the original box if you choose, or in a drawstring bag, which I prefer. A Ziploc bag can be used as well. Just make sure it does not touch other silicone toys, and do not use silicone lube. Water-based is always the best.

I love this toy! I use it much more frequently than I expected I would. It is definitely a favorite of mine. It is strong enough to get me off every time, but also quiet enough to use in a shared apartment. I use it on the constant vibration settings, though the patterns can be fun sometimes too. Once or twice the ears have pinched sensitive skin between them. This hurt like hell and caused some minor bleeding. I know to be more careful now, and I have used this many many more times without issue, but it is still worth mentioning.
