Weak Vibrations
My wife and I selected this toy on a whim, thinking that it might be something easy to use in a travel situation. Upon arrival it fit the bill, as it is fairly small and discreet and not likely to cause a big stir going through airport security. Upon initial review, and through regular use, it does appear to be a well made and fairly sturdy toy. The controls are not loose, but in fact the construction makes everything fit together quite snugly. Cleaning with some soap and water is not a problem, and changing the batteries is not difficult at all. It is made out of a hard plastic material, so you may safely use it with water, oil, or silicone based lubricants. It can also be stored alongside other toys without a worry of melting or causing any damage.
As far the practical use, I found that the vibration provided by the toy was just not strong enough to make an impression. It can definitely be felt, but it surely isn't strong enough to bring my wife to a climax or even close. As a result, this is more a "foreplay rocket". It doesn't get the astronauts into outer-space, its the van that brings them to the launchpad. If you are fairly sensitive to vibrations, or looking for something lighter, then that's no problem.
There is also a small plastic knobby attachment that can be snapped over the vibrating end of the toy. It does provide a little more stimulation in that it is more textured, but the cap only serves to diminish the vibrations further, so we opted out of using it. The noise that this toy puts out is incredibly quiet. If you plan on using this in a bedroom, closing the door should block out the noise without a problem.
