Use

The Pink performers lust is a nice all around vibrator for people that enjoy texture. It works well as a clitoral vibe as well as a g-spot vibe. The perfectly rounded, soft, texture and modest size make this a good choice even for beginners as long as you love texture. There is absolutely no way around the texture on this one! It's not painful, but it's by no means subtle!

Material / Texture

The PPl is a highly textured Silicone g-spot vibrator. It features rounded, raised swirls and hearts. Even though the texture is perfectly smooth, with no square edges, it is elevated from the surface quite high, coming in at three sixteenth of an inch. The texture is intense and for this reviewer it proved too much internally. Externally if you can get the right angle, the texture feels great on the clitoris. Liking or loving the PPL really depends on the individuals taste for texture and knowing your own preferences.

The Silicone is very squishy and matte finished, it feels awesome! The color is hot pink. I didn't notice any offensive smell. The PPL does bend and flex but it does not maintain the shape unless held in place. The g-spot curved tip proved effective and provided moderate g-spot stimulation.

Design / Shape / Size

The PPl is seven inches long and one and a half inches in diameter, fairly average size, but due to the texture the girth does feel like it's more than one and a half inches. I love girthy toys, I suppose you could even call me a size queen. Sadly, this was just too much texture for me. Even though this vibe is super squishy, you really have to love texture to love this vibe.

The texture begins about a quarter of an inch after the g-spot curve with a ribbon of raised silicone followed by five rows of cute little raised hearts. Finally, three connected swirled bands at the base. To me the most prevalent texture was the hearts. Slow thrusting was tolerable but fast thrusting was out of the question! I could feel every little heart. It was just too intense and a bit uncomfortable. Externally the texture felt great on my clit.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I was a bit shocked by the power the PPl provided for one AA battery. The g-spot tip provided very enjoyable clit stimulation was enough for orgasm. The vibrations transmitted very well through the silicone and were really great at the tip. The motor is located where the heart texture begins and the vibrator will flex and bend all the way to where bottom three rings. It's really flexible but not floppy.

This is NOT a pressure activated vibe as seen on Eden specs, rather it operates by a twist dial at the base. I found the dial very hard to manipulate especially with wet or with lubed up hands. The vibration intensity is dependent on how far you twist the dial, it ranges from low to high and everything in between. The vibration is not earth shattering, but it really is decent considering the power source. The PPl is pretty darn quiet and would not be heard through a closed door or if using it in the shower.

The PPl is waterproof. It comes equipped with a clear silicone gasket. I've used it in the shower and I submerged it, neither caused a problem.

Care and Maintenance

As with most silicone toy's silicone lube is a no-no, so please stick to water based lube with this one. Washing with antibacterial soap and water should suffice for solo use. If you plan on sharing this vibe please use a condom or wash it with a 10% bleach to water solution before sharing.

Packaging

The Pink performers lust came packaged in a typical plastic clam shell. It did have a sample of the silicone material in the bottom corner, in the shape of a large pearl. This pearl is provided so a potential buyer can get a feel for the material of the toy, if you should be shopping in a retail store. I was VERY happy this sample was provided. Carrie Ann, one of our community's reviewing goddesses has spoken many times about the fire/silicone purity test. If you put fire to pure silicone it should not burn. The sample provided with this toy not only burnt, it held an ember and ended up a chalky, glob of white ash. What exactly that proves, I'm not sure. The PPl is touted as Non-porous, Phthalates free, Hypo-allergenic, Food-grade material and is Latex free. I'm no expert on silicone composites but this makes me question the purity of this silicone. My 100% silicone hairbands won't even burn.

Sorry this didn't work well for you, which is too bad since this is pretty cute! Plus, what is up with them mis-advertising the material? If it just a composite containing silicone, they should clearly state this.
    Excellent review!

I totally agree Selective Sensualist! Misrepresentation of material purity is a no-no! Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you so much for this! Right now it is available as a free gift for $70+ orders. I was going to get it BUT now because it is not true 100% pure silicone I will not. Many companies do this though, they will say it is silicone, but don't specify silicone composites or pure 100% silicone. Companies like Tantus and Doc Johnson however do specify the quality of their silicone. Thank you again for giving us this information.
