The width doesn't make this a good glass toy for beginners. The price does. As long as you're easy with it, it's a very enjoyable experience. The swirls on the shaft are heavenly! Price-wise this is definitely the best vibrating glass on Eden.

Pros
Affordable glass, waterproof, visually appealing
Cons
Wider than expected, only three speeds, texture on the tip is too intense
This is an incredibly unique toy that combines many people's favorite material (glass) with their favorite function (vibration). The Kissa works best as a g-spot vibrator, though you could use it as a clitoral vibrator as well. I wouldn't recommend her for anal due to having such a narrow base. Thrusting with the Kissa is a bit too much for me. People that have more of a threshold for size would have an easier time with it. Even without much thrusting, I found the Kissa to be a satisfying toy. The swirled texture on the shaft is still stimulating with very little back and forth motion. Twisting feels nice, too.
I have yet to use this for temperature play, but it would be a good choice if you were wanting to do so. Glass changes and holds temperatures nicely.
You can take the Kissa in the shower with you or use her with a partner easily. Just make sure they know to be easy with you! Glass can bruise if you're unnecessarily rough.
Glass toys have no smell, no taste, and are smooth. If you open the bottom to insert a battery, there is a bit of a plastic smell. It goes away once you twist the cap back on.
When I first heard that glass sex toys existed, I was really confused. I'm used to glass being something that breaks easily, and putting it inside my most sensitive parts sounded like a horrifying idea. I was wrong! The Kissa (and almost all other glass toys) are made of tempered glass. Tempered glass/Pyrex is made to be strong and resist shattering. It feels like a solid toy and I don't see myself managing to break it.
I'm only a fan of the swirly texture on the shaft of the vibrator. The textured bulb might be more pleasurable if it were smaller. I find the texture and the size together the be almost too much to use the toy. I might become more comfortable with this as I use the it more. For this reason I wouldn't recommend the Kissa to absolute beginners. You may need to use some lube with it. Any type of lube is compatible with the materials, which is another plus.
I'm a sucker for cute vibrators. This definitely falls into that category. I can tell a lot of thought went into the design and I appreciate that. It has a pretty standard shape, just more textured than most. It was wider than I expected. The word 'squat' comes to mind. A jelly toy of the same width wouldn't be nearly as intimidating. Just keep in mind when shopping that glass has absolutely no give to it. The Kissa has a plastic vibrating core with glass stuck over top of it. I thought this was a novel idea. Do you think the Science Channel would air an episode of 'How It's Made' on glass vibrators? I'm fascinated.
The Kissa comes with a bag to carry it around in. If you leave it in the bag nobody will guess that you have a vibrator laying around, but I wouldn't leave her out by herself and expect nobody to catch on.
The description on the website says that it's pink, but she's true to the colors in the pictures and appears more of a muted red. As for the design, the website isn't as accurate. The pictures show a swirly ridge that reaches to the bottom of the insertable length of the toy. In reality my swirls stop an inch short of that. However, the dimensions (5 inches insertable, 1.5 inches in diameter at its widest) are accurate.
I think the vibrating part is located near the top, because vibrations only seem to go as far as the last ridge on the shaft. I don't think I've inserted the toy past this point, so I would still say that the vibrations are evenly distributed through the usable part of the toy. The Kissa has three speeds: low, a slightly louder low, and medium. People that like low, rumbly vibrations or near-painful high ones may not be as satisfied.
I do have to complain about the controls. You turn the vibrator on/off and cycle through the speeds with one bottom located on the base. When I masturbate by myself I tend to either sit down with my legs folded underneath me and ride the vibrator, or lay on my stomach and press the heel of my hand into my clit. When I do this with the Kissa I press the button on accident. If you don't press it all the way, the vibrations stop until you make the button click or remove your hand. When I use this toy solo there are a lot of frustrating moments when I have to shift my position to something less comfortable to keep it going. I'm still able to climax, but this (and the size of the textured bulb) are the reason that I took a star off of my review.
In my experience, solid toys have been more noisy. This one is surprisingly quiet. I turned it on in front of my boyfriend while he was two feet away and he thought that I was showing him that the battery had died. I turned it on the highest setting and he still couldn't hear it. You'll definitely be safe with this behind a closed door.
This Kissa is by far my easiest toy to clean. Since it's glass I can boil it (although since I don't know the melting point of this specific plastic, I wouldn't completely submerge it. Tongs are your friend.), use soap, a toy cleaner, or a mild bleach solution. Any lubes are compatible. The only thing I would be careful of is storing with other glass toys. I would keep them in padded bags to keep them from knocking against each other and possibly chipping.
The Kissa made her arrival in some rather bland packaging, just a clear plastic bag with a paper tag on top. It reminded me of gas station candy packaging. Inside of the plastic was a lightly padded velvety black bag that contained the toy. The bag closes easily for discreet storage and does not appear to shed fuzzies.
Before I got this, I had no interest in glass toys. I thought I preferred toys with give to them. Glass seemed cold and distant. Now I know that it's just cheap plastic vibrators I don't like and that glass easily warms up to you. The Kissa isn't an ideal starting glass toy, but she's what I started with and I'm happy for that. I tend to jump in the middle of things while I'm learning, anyway.
The first thing I noticed about the Kissa was just how cold she could get. Nobody is kidding about glass being great for temperature play. She had been sitting on the steps outside for a few hours and felt like ice. I gave her a little while to warm up to room temperature while the apartment cleared out (why do things never deliver while you're alone?), popped an AA battery into her, and took her in the shower with me.
She quickly warmed up under the hot water. I had a little trouble getting the nubby bulb in, but once I did and got that difficult part pressed against my g-spot I had an orgasm in record time. I had a moment of panic when I placed her down on the ledge of the shower. Glass rolls! It seems like a sturdy toy, so I don't think it would have broken if I had let it fall.
A few days later I had my boyfriend use it on me during oral, which eliminates the problem I have with accidentally pressing the button. We actually had less trouble inserting it on dry land than I did in the shower. It was still a little tight, but we didn't need lube. I had another orgasm and the boyfriend deemed it "a fun toy". A+ for consistency, Kissa.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore4 months after original review
I really can't stress enough how your partner(s) need(s) to be careful if they're using this on you. This was my go-to toy for a while. A few weeks ago, my partner was using it on me. He zigged; I zagged. It was really uncomfortable. There was some blood that I wanted to think was spotting, but my period wasn't until almost two weeks after 'the incident.' I was sore for days and haven't used it since.
Be careful, be careful, be careful.

Great review I have this one and don't like it at all, though, it hurts me too much and if I use it externally, it's just not powerful enough...

Very nice review! The Kissa is on my wish list, but the last time I made an order it was out of stock

Great review!!
Fuck it.
@tigerkate I'm sorry this one hurts you.. If I had a choice between this and a slightly smaller version, I'd probably go with the smaller one myself.
@Waterfall Set an alert! I've had to change orders at the last minute, in a good way, because things suddenly came back in stock.

Wait, you can boil this thing? I thought the bottom part was made of plastic... would appreciate the clarification. Otherwise, great review! Thanks for clarifying on the other specs, like color and the large, nubbly head.
Fuck it.
Thanks for catching that! I need to fix it. I wouldn't completely submerge it in boiling water because of the cap.
