The Vr8 is a rechargeable, silicone, dual-motor vibrator, built to target G-spots and Prostates with ease. Great for partner play or solo action. It is also waterproof, so it has a lot of versatility, while being easy to clean and store. Comes with storage pouch and charger. Solid power and pretty quiet.

Pros
Silicone, rechargeable, pouch included, good sized, targets G/P spots.
Cons
Buttons too sensitive, could be more powerful on small end. No color choice.
The Jopen vanity Vr8 is a dual motor vibe that can be used to target G or P-spots or as a general clitoral and all over vibrator. The smaller end is ideal for G-spot targeting or Prostate stimulation by a partner or for solo use. I think it is ideal to use on a partner, ergonomically speaking, but it does work just fine alone too. You could even use it simultaneously on each other, since it has two vibrating ends, if you get creative. There are many ways you can use this. Just open your imagination. It can also work as an all over body vibe.
It is waterproof too, so shower, pool and tub fun is on the menu too. It is pretty quiet, so if you need something discreet sounding, this is a good choice.
The material is body-safe silicone, which is a 10 on the EF safety scale. They recommend using water-based lubes, so not to damage the silicone. The silicone is fairly smooth and has a matte finish and comes in the same boring purple color that all Jopen's Vr line are be made of. The silicone is not on par with Lelo's, in my opinion, but is the next step down. It has a slight bit of drag, but a dollop of water-based lube aids any discomfort. I recommend using Sliquid Sassy Booty.
There is no discernible smell or taste of the silicone. The small has some degree of flex to it, while the thicker end is a little more rigid. The toy is ideal for any level user.
The silicone is food-grade material,hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free.
The Vr8 is 8" long varies in thickness. Each end is about 4" insertable. The small head is 1 1/4" wide and the longer end is 2" wide at it's thickest part. The small end is buzzy and the large end is more rumbly as far as the motor goes. For us the small head is ideal for any penetration. The large end, for us, is too thick to use vaginally and definitely for anal. YMMV.
The shape lends itself nicely to gentle thrusting, rotating or gyrating movements while inserted. Both ends can certainly be used clitorally or for all over body stimulation.
It is pretty ergonomic to use, though as with the Vr9, it is too easy to accidentally push the buttons and thus turn off the motors during use.
There are two control buttons in the center of the shaft that are slightly raised and covered in silicone bubbles. This is a pretty unique design being in the middle. The buttons are very easy to push, which can cause some interruptions during play, because just one touch will turn them off. These are the press and hold variety. Press once to turn on/off and hold down to increase the intensity. Considering their location, it is quite often that you press them off by mistake during play sessions.
The toy is impressively quiet. The smaller end being more quiet and buzzy, while the large end is more loud, rumbly and deeper penetrating. The smaller end is felt mostly in the head, while the larger motor is felt through most of the body to varying degrees. It's not as quiet as a Lelo at max power, but still not too loud. About 2.5 bees.
When using the small end only, the vibrations are weak to average. Not very impressive on its own, but decent enough for prostate stimulation. The large end is pretty powerful (about 4.5 vrooms). I noticed how when you turn both motors on full simultaneously there is a harmonic dissonance created that delivers seemingly two spectrums of vibration to the little end (really the only end we find useful). This amps up the pleasure and makes it enjoyable for him or her.
There are no patterns, just a continuous degree of straight vibrations. Power queens will most likely want more revs on the small end.
The toy is travel-friendly. It has a lock feature, by pressing 3 times fast you can lock it from turning on. Do the same to unlock it when ready to use.
This is an easy to to care for. It is waterproof silicone, so you can wash with soap and water, toy cleaner, toy wipes or 10% bleach solution without worry. The toy comes with a cloth pouch that is big enough to store the toy and charging cord, and then some. I recommend storing in the pouch, as this kind of silicone can be a dust magnet. You are not supposed to boil the toy, due to having electronics inside, though you can probably pour boiling or very hot water over the surface safely enough, if you feel the need.
Overall, care couldn't be easier.
Do not store in direct sunlight either. I have not had to charge this a 2nd time yet, but I'd guess you can get roughly 1.5-2 hrs on a charge.
The Jopen line comes with a 1 year warranty that is extendable to 10 years
The packaging comes in a pretty basic white cardboard box with the Vanity logo on it. Tasteful, understated and fairly discreet. Definitely recyclable. You could use it for storage, but better off just using the pouch. The pouch is quite large and could store several toys at once. It's always nice to have a storage pouch included. Most of the fancy packaging gets thrown out anyway.
The toy seems to be at it's best with both motors running simultaneously. The larger end motor packs a pretty good punch. 4-4.5 vrooms. Otherwise, it might be underwhelming for some running just the small end. The head is an ideal shape for G-spot or anal stimulation and is very comfortable and relatively easy to insert. The head inserts and rests nicely at the P-spot when inserted anally. It may take more time and practice to decide how much I like this one for me, but the head is definitely and ideal shape for G or P-spot targeting.
She seems to really enjoy it and reacted quite positively as she did with the Vr9. She likes both, but I think she got off a little easier with the Vr9. You can't go wrong with either one though. It's really a matter of shape preference. These are both fun to use on a partner and though there are no patterns, I find they offer a good variety of stimulation choices. We tend to use the patterns less frequently anyway.
This is impressively powerful with both motors on. The small motor alone is nothing special, but both going together work quite well. My initial impression was disappointment, until I realized that using both motors together really makes a huge difference.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it29 months after original review
Due to losing her favorite toy (lelo liv) this has been the backup most used. It's a great vibrator, but what blows me away is how infrequently it needs to be charged. We can go months without charging it (granted she doesn't use this as often as I would...), but based on my experience with rechargeable toys, this one outlasts them all by a longshot. Pleasurable too, but amazing the battery life.

Great review as always! Is there any reason to have both the Vr8 and the Vr9? They appear to be so similar that unless you're a collector, you would probably just want one or the other, is that right? I don't have either one, but I like the looks of he Vr9 best.

ImaGodiva, no reason to have both really. It's more a matter of shape preference.
