Plenty of bang for your buck
The Little Thumper is an excellent choice of vibrator if you're looking for something simple. Its low price, use of standard batteries and strong vibrations make the Little Thumper an essential toy to have around.
Published:
Pros
easy to maneuver, strong vibrations, multiple modes
Cons
vibrations are high-pitched, remote is a bit bulky
The Little Thumper is one of those toys that I wasn't expecting to be too impressed by. It's made by Doc Johnson, which is a decent manufacturer of sex toys, but the toy itself is on the simpler side of design and aesthetics, and how much can you expect to get for fifteen bucks?
It just goes to show you, it's not always good to make assumptions. The Little Thumper, while plain and simple, has more than enough power to get the job done. The bullet, which to me looks like a bowling ball pin, is attached via a decently long cord to the remote, which offers an On/Off button, and a simple mode switching button. The mode switching button cycles through several vibration modes and increasing intensities of the steady "on" vibrations. Both buttons are easy to operate; actually, they may be a little too easy, as I have accidentally turned on the vibrator on more than one occasion.
The Little Thumper is encased in hard plastic, with the shade of pink being pretty without being too bright or too pastel. The On/Off button and mode switching button both light up red when the toy is on, so you don't have to worry about accidentally draining the batteries.
Speaking of batteries and power, Little Thumper runs on just two AA batteries. Power-wise, Little Thumper has a lot to offer, though I'll be honest: the vibrations, while strong and definitely easily transmitted through the bowling ball vibrator portion of the toy, are on the high-pitched, buzzy side. If you need deeper, more reverberating vibrations in order to have an orgasm, you may have a bit of trouble acclimating to the vibrations that the Little Thumper puts off. But the vibrations are strong enough to get the job done, so if you're a high-needs kind of girl, don't be put off by the description of the Little Thumper's vibrations. The vibrations are on the louder side, so if you want to be discreet, you may want to look elsewhere for a vibrator of this style.
