Pros
Powerful vibrations, Affordable, Small design for beginners.
Cons
Noticeable seam, No pulsating settings, Not waterproof.
My first impression upon opening the box was one of doubt. I wasn't entirely sure this toy would pack much of a punch because it looked and felt so cheap. Boy was I wrong!
The LED Bliss Teaser made by California Exotic Novelties is designed specifically for use on the clitoris or inserted vaginally, but there are a number ways to enjoy it. You can stimulate nipples and the opening of the anus with this blissfully vibrating bullet. I'm sure you could even massage other parts of your body with it as well since its vibrations are so surprisingly strong, but it didn't really do much in hitting my g-spot when I tried that out. Just don't try to insert this anally because there's no handle for retrieval and it could get stuck.
The only problem I see with this bullet is the very noticeable seam near the base of the bullet itself, but you can easily get around this issue by putting the bullet into a condom before insertion just to be sure that no scraping of precious inside parts occurs. A scraped vagina is a an angry or sad vagina, unless you're quite masochistic, but that's a whole other story I won't get into.
I would have to say that this bullet is quite adequate for beginners and advanced users alike. Anyone can get enjoyment out of this as long as some precautions are taken as mentioned about the seam. The Bliss Teaser can also be incorporated into foreplay by teasing your partner's nipples, clitoris, labia, head and shaft of the penis, scrotum or around the anus. You can also use this during sex to stimulate other body parts while penetration occurs.
The LED Bliss Teaser is comprised of a hard pink plastic which feels smooth and is often slightly chilly to the touch. There is a barely noticeable plastic smell to this toy, but it fades with use and washing.
Since the bullet is made with plastic it is non-porous and phthalate-free, giving it a safety rating of 8, meaning it won't easily harbor bacteria. Now this is where the noticeable seam matters most. To keep it bacteria free, make sure you put a condom over the bullet before inserting every time or vaginal discharge will build up and be hard as heck to get out of that pesky seam.
It is suggested to use water-based, oil and silicone lubricants with this toy. But if you're using a condom over it to cover the seam as mentioned before, only use the water-based lubricant as it will not damage the condom.
The oval shaped "gem" controller is about 4" long and just shy of 2 1/2" across and has a spin dial control on the top right side and a port for plugging in the bullet's wire on the top left side. The bullet itself is bean-shaped starting at 1" across the end and tapers down to 3/4" less than halfway down before flaring back out into just a little over 1" across at the base. In the base of the bullet is a wire measuring 33" long that plugs into the oval controller. The bullet has a noticeable seam on the base side of the bullet and a little dip mark in the top end made from when the mold was poured.
The spin dial on the controller is not lockable for travel but it's quite stiff and should not pose a problem while traveling with it.
The size and shape of this toy make it fairly easy to hide but it's definitely not discreet. It looks like a bullet and will be noticeable to anyone who knows a little about sex toys. The size also makes this bullet great for beginners and advanced users alike and personally, was great for me as well.
The Bliss Teaser bullet's vibrations are located at the end of the bullet without the wire, so the "tip" of it and are quite powerful when turned all the way on high. It's almost too much for my clitoris to handle when turned on high which is great for such an affordable toy.
The spin dial ranges from low to high as you spin it counter clockwise and as soon as you turn it on a LED light indicator comes on in the bullet itself to let you know that the power is indeed on. At low the light isn't very bright, but it increases in intensity as you turn up the power on the bullet.
The controls are very simple to use and are located conveniently on the controller making it easy to manipulate while holding it. I noticed that while turned on this bullet is quite loud and will probably be heard through blankets and maybe even a closed door, so using this toy should probably be when you know there's no one else around to hear it.
The LED Bliss Teaser runs on 3 AAA batteries and seems to last a long time when used sporadically. More continuous use will probably drain the batteries faster, but should last for a few hours at a time. The battery door on the controller pulls down with your thumb and lifts open, but does not come fully off. After inserting the batteries just flip the battery cover back down and push up into place until clicked closed.
Cleaning the LED Bliss Teaser is quite simple if you remember to use a condom with it to cover up that very noticeable seam. It is suggested to clean the bullet with a spray on toy cleaner or toy cleaning wipe or by wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to remove the batteries before each cleaning and storage of this toy.
The bullet is not waterproof so running it under water is not advised, nor is submerging it in water, so no using it in the shower or tub and no sterilizing it by boiling or throwing it in the dishwasher. Getting water on this toy will ruin its motor.
There was no storage pouch included with this toy, but it's small enough to be tossed in a drawer or other storage device with other toys, as it will not damage them by touching them.
This is how the LED Bliss Teaser came to me, nestled in crumpled brown paper along with the invoice and the 2012 EdenFantasys catalog.
The box with the Bliss Teaser in it is of paperboard construction depicting the toy itself on the front with "Lighted Shimmers" and the California Exotics Novelties logo on the top and "LED Bliss Teaser with Extreme Power" on the bottom half. This is located on the sides of the box as well with the exception of the extreme power statement. The back has another photo of the toy and explains exactly what it is, as well as listing copyright information, made in china and the Cal Exotics website.
The box is not discreet at all, so should be wrapped if being gifted and would not make a good storage box, but should be recycled.
Inside the paperboard box the bullet and the controller are in a plastic bag that is closed with a piece of tape.
The only instructions included in the packaging are that of battery installation and there was no warranty.
After taking it out of the packaging and inserting the batteries I turned it on to see what the light would look like and how intense it would be. I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised at how strong the vibrations turned out to be. Also, the LED indicator light is just too cute and makes it fun to play with in the dark.
When I finished checking it out I laid the bullet against my clitoris and noticed on low it felt nice, but not powerful enough to get me to orgasm, so I slowly turned it up some. As it vibrated more intensely on what I guess you'd call a medium, I felt a stirring in my nether region. So this is when I jack the thing up as high as it will go and just hold it there. I have to say it didn't take very long to orgasm like that, but I did feel a bit itchy on the skin because it was vibrating that strongly. It wasn't enough to make my clitoris go numb though, which is a problem I have with intensely high powered toys.
Inserting the bullet makes it feel less intense but is still quite enjoyable, but I had to use a condom over it because the seam is big enough to scrape, at least on me. Not sure if that's because of my smaller vaginal anatomy or what, but there it is. Be safe and mind that seam!
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
This bullet was alright for it's intended purposes, but to be honest I haven't played with it since first trying it out. I just don't think it's my preferred kind of toy. Being that I haven't used it much, it's in great condition.

Wonderful review, that seam would totally scare me away from the product.

Aww thanks Beck!
Thanks Tripod, I hear you, I wouldn't normally insert anything with a seam since I had a horrible experience with that once, but covering with a condom seems to help.
