PicoBombed!
If you are looking for a toy for couples play, specifically to be used during vaginal sex, then this toy is not what you are looking for. It's too stiff and bulky. If you're looking to use it for solo play, it's marginally better but there are many other cheaper toys out there that are much more satisfying. It didn't fit well with my body for G-spot/clit or G-spot/anal stimulation.

Pros
multispeed/multifunction, quiet, independent controls, travel friendly, aesthetically pleasing
Cons
weak vibrations, stiff plastic "U", controls on vibrator, not flexible
My husband and I like to use toys in the bedroom. If you've never tried this with your partner, stop reading, right now, and go! Explore! Play! Seriously, you don't know what you're missing! That said, I bought the PicoBong Mahana with the intention of it being a couples vibrator, one that we could use during sex. We use all kinds of toys during sex but most of them need to be held in, up, pushed, pulled, or manipulated in some way. I was interested in this one as I was hoping it could be inserted and forgotten about. Well, forgotten about expect for the awesome sensations I was expecting for my husband and I. Only disappointment followed.
When we tried using it this way, with one side inserted in me and the other nestled between my lips, and with him on top, the toy was too large, hard and cumbersome. It was uncomfortably hard with my husband on top of me, pushing the outside vibrator into my vulva. Even when he backed off some, there were still issues. The part on the outside of me didn't touch my clit. I attribute this in part to the design. The vibrator is larger in the middle and slimmer at the end, like an elongated blimp, thus it fit well in the middle of my labia but fell short at the clit. It was too large to be in me and to have my husband in me. It may have been okay if the toy were more pliable and soft, but the silicone and plastic were unyielding. My skin was pinched a few times between where the plastic meets the vibrator and it screws in. When placed inside of you this is just at your, very sensitive, vaginal opening and was a most sharp and unwanted pain. My husband complained of the vibrators being hard and the plastic "U" connecting the two getting in the way.
I wasn't ready to declare defeat so I tried the toy several times in solo play. I enjoyed it more in this way but it's still not at the top of my list. I do like the two vibrators with independent multi-function/multi-speed settings. I also like that the toy is mostly silicone so it's safer and easy to clean. My last positive is that it is relatively quiet. For the cons, the vibrations aren't as strong as I'd like them to be. You have to change the speed/vibration settings by touching a certain spot on the vibrator, so this is less than desirable if you are inserting the toy and decide you want to change the setting. Talk about ruining the moment. The buttons aren't that sensitive, so on the up side you don't have to worry about it changing during use accidentally.
I tried using it while dually inserted for G-spot/anal stimulation and this was tricky and more painful than pleasurable. I was very worried about over-extending the plastic "U" that connects the two vibrators. It's stiff plastic and not meant to be pliable. Given this fact, I had to insert the vibrators simultaneously, which was not optimal. Once I finally got them in, I was happy that I was victorious as it was such a laborious task, but quickly realized that the sensation was not what I had hoped. The vibrations were weak and didn't do much for me. I left it in, both vibrating, while I got out a second vibrator to stimulate my clit and get me to climax. Honestly, I'm not sure the Mahana helped that much, but after all the effort it took to get it in I wanted to give it a try.
I've had this toy for months and it now sits, looking very pretty and promising, but rarely ever used.

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
I've tried using this toy different ways in hopes of finding something that I really like about it, and I've yet to find this use. The cons that continue to bother me are the ones I list in my review: weak vibrations, stiff plastic "U," controls on vibrator, not flexible. I require toys with strong vibrations to get me where I want to go, otherwise they're just a tease and don't deliver. Others may like the weaker vibrations or prefer to use this toy for teasing. Another thing I really don't like about the Mahana is the controls. There are + and - buttons in the word PicoBong on each side of the toy used to turn the toy on and off and to change the modes. These buttons are not easy for me to feel with my fingers, so I have to stop using the toy and bring it up to my face to see where the buttons are when I want to change the vibration mode or the intensity. Visually the toy is nice looking, colorful, and I like how the name PicoBong is indented on each bullet. It's subtle and stylish. At the same time it hinders the performance in my opinion. The toy is also very soft and smooth, especially when lubed, and could be used for nipple play or massaging other areas of the body. I've also found that when used anally the material tends to hold odor until it's gone through a few good cleanings. This was a bit of an unexpected "ew" factor. I'm also afraid every time I use it for dual vaginal/anal stimulation that the plastic "U" will snap and hurt me. Mahana, you're not for me, but I hope you're out there making someone happy!
