Petal to the Metal for Deep & Rumbly Surprises...
Pleasure Petals is a traditional vibrator with a non-traditional attitude! The motor is jacked up and provides deep, penetrating, rumbly vibrations. The plastic is covered with velvet coat, the shaft has upraised texture and the size is a bit larger than most other traditional vibrators. This might be a bit intimidating for the new toy user, but will fit right in for the intermediate to advanced users who still want the benefits of a basic traditional vibrator.

The Pleasure Petals is packaged inside a sealed bag and is placed in a large, oval, clear plastic folding box from Edens. This box could be used for storage if space is not an issue, however you can also store this in a toy pouch, clean sock or with your other plastic items.
The Petal is made of velvet coat plastic, rates an 8 on the safety scale and has a unique texture. There are upraised flower patterns running vertically on two sides of the shaft. The top 1 1/2" is smooth and so is the seam area. The upraised texture is about 1/32" deep and does contribute to the stimulation from the vibrator. This might be a bit too much texture for some people, but when properly lubed, I found it was pleasant for internal sensations.
You are able to insert 6 1/2" of this 7" vibrator, and the diameter is 1 1/2". This is a bit on the larger size for traditional vibrators, however the velvety and smooth feeling of the velvet coat makes this a fun and truly useable vibrator. You can use oil, water and silicone based lubes, however if you mix and match your toys during one playtime, I would suggest sticking with water based lube. You will not have to stop and wash off the incompatible lube when switching to a toy made out of a different material.
Since the Petal is shaped as a traditional vibrator, the uses are a bit limited, however the texture and deep, rumbly motor makes this a great option for intermediate to advanced users. I would have been a bit intimidated by the size, texture and power of this for a beginning vibrator, however, this may suit some beginners as well.
Traditional vibrators are most commonly used by women for clitoral stimulation and vaginal penetration. However, they also make great sensory teasers for your nipples, insides of your arm or back of knees and any other sensitive areas on your body. Men can use these as external taint vibrators, rub it along the shaft of the penis and again, on all sensory areas of their body for a bit of teasing as well. And couples....well, they can experiment with all of the above!!
The vibrations are felt throughout the Petal, are deep and rumbly and penetrate very well. The power comes from the 2 C batteries that you insert after unscrewing the base of the vibrator. Leave the rolled up paper in the battery compartment to dampen the noise, otherwise the motor will get pretty loud and the batteries will rattle while in use. This powerful motor does use up the batteries when used on the highest setting for too long.
Wash the Petal in warm and soapy water, rinse thoroughly and let it air dry. This coating does pick up a bit of lint. The vibrator is not waterproof, so make sure no water gets into the battery compartment.

Follow-up commentary

The texture, which really scared me at first ended up being my favorite feature of this vibrator, and the strong motor. I have not had any luck getting it to ease up on the battery usage, but I guess that might be the price I pay.
This is a larger vibrator and the texture is quite prevalent. The motor is very powerful and the noise level will let you know there is a toy in the room, but I still grab a couple batteries from the store every now and again....

I didn't realize this was powerd by C batteries. I thought it was like the Little Honey that was free last week and the sex in the shower vibe because of hte design so I passed up on it. I may go ahead and try this since the others were powered by AA's.
