The G4 Patchy Paul is a whimsical, silicone, rechargeable, waterproof g-spot vibrator by Fun Factory. It can be used alone or with a partner. Use it vaginally for thrusting, stimulation, or locating and stimulating the g-spot. You can also use it to stimulate the outside of the vagina, the nipples, or male genitals during foreplay. I don't recommend using it for anal just to be safe.

Patchy Paul is made of 100% body safe silicone and a plastic handle. The silicone is smooth, soft and velvety with a bit of drag to it, so you're probably benefit from using some water based lubricant. It has a bumpy texture down the length which can be felt when in use. It's almost like popping sensation. The material and bumpy texture is good for any user. It has a good bit of flexibility to it but it gets sturdier closer to the handle. There wasn't any scent to the silicone.

Patchy Paul resembles a cute little worm which may turn some people off because he has a face, but I can overlook that for the bumpy texture. He is pretty long so it makes a good vibe for thrusting. His head has a slight curve to it which is good for locating and hooking onto the g-spot for pinpoint stimulation. His girth may intimidate some people, he gets progressively thicker as you go down to the handle. Due to the size, it might not be the best for beginners but should be fine for others. The loop in the handle makes it easier to hold onto the vibrator. Paul isn't the most discreet vibe, so you'll want to tuck him away. He isn't really once that you would just toss into your purse either due to it's size.

Compared to Je Joue's Uma

The G4 Patchy Paul is a decently strong vibrator with multiple speeds and settings. It is controlled by 3 buttons located on the front of the handle. To turn the toy on press the + or the * holding down for about 3 seconds. To turn it off press the - for about 3 seconds.
+ increases the speeds
- decreases the speed
* cycles through the 4 different vibration patterns

The controls light up when in use. The vibrations feel rumbly and deep, and can be felt throughout the entire toy including the handle, which can make your hand feel numb if used on high for a long period. There are 4 patterns that are the same as the G4 Tiger that I have by Fun Factory. They are:
1. Steady sort of throbbing pulse vibrations
2. Stronger, deeper throbbing/pulsating
3. Escalating type of stronger slower pulses
4. Escalating pulses increasing in speed and strength
Patchy Paul is great for thrusting but the small curve that is his "head" could also be used to stimulate the g-spot.

It is rechargeable and uses the Click N Charge magnetic system. The back of the round head of the charger attracts to the back of Paul's handlel. You MUST make sure it is lined up correctly or it won't stay on. I found it best to lay the toy down on one of its sides and apply the charger then leave it. Put it somewhere that it won't get bumped because the slightest bump can knock it off and stop the charging process. The Fun Factory logo words light up red when the toy is charging and turn off when it is done. The instructions say it could take up to 6 hours to charge but mine only took about 3, if that.

It is fairly quiet at 2 bees, but when turned up on max speed it does get louder and could possibly be 3 bees at that point.

Patchy Paul is waterproof so you can take him into the bath or shower with you.

You should only use water based lubricant with this toy. You can clean it with mild soap and water, toy cleaner, wipes or a 10% bleach solution. When cleaning be sure to get in between the ridges and "mouth" of Paul. I recommend storing in the box it came in or getting bag/pouch for it because it does love to pick up lint, hair and other particles.

Paul's rumbly vibrations are nice and the feeling of the bumpy texture is more than pleasurable. It is a bit more girthy than I like my vibes to be but the plushy silicone helps to make it more comfortable.
