When this toy arrived, I was delighted by it's dainty pink color and beautiful design. It looked both simple, feminine, and it was a new toy!
This toy is fun for just by yourself and for playtime with the hubby or partner. It was absolutely great for partner play. This toy was not as good as advertised but it was a nice addition to our collection. My hubby and I greatly enjoyed it together and I highly recommend this toy for beginners and couples.
The Pagoda is made out of jelly material. It has a slight rubbery smell and taste to it. It feels perfectly smooth without any ridges. Personally, I don't like ribbed things so this toy felt very nice. The shaft is shaped at a nice angle for g-spot stimulation. The head of this toy is not as wide and flat as it seems in the pic. It has more of a small, round head than a flat and wide one. The soft, yet firm, feeling of the jelly material was nice too.
The shape of this vibrator does place it over the g-spot area but it was not as awesome as advertised. It's diameter is 1 3/8" and it's insertable length is 7". I would definitely recommend this toy to those that want either an intro into vibes.
This toy is not very easy to hide. After washing and drying it, I would suggest placing it in cool, dry place in a separate bag by itself. It's not a great size for traveling but you can always wrap it up in your clothes and pack it that way!
The Pagoda G-spot has a turn dial-base at the end of it where you can control the multi-speed vibrations. It has about 7 levels of gradually increasing speeds. There is only one function which is best described as one continuous buzz. The speed is the only thing that changes with each turn of the dial-base. The base of the toy is very easy to turn. This toy does take two AA batteries and it even works with rechargeable batteries. So, that is a definite plus in my book. There were no instructions on how to place the batteries in so I had to fiddle with putting the batteries in different directions until it worked.
The vibrations went through the entire shaft and head but they were not as powerful as near the base. If the toy had the powerful vibrations of the base going throughout the shaft then this toy would have been a whole lot more enjoyable.
As far as the noise level, it makes a relaxing purr sound until you get to the higher speeds. Then it sounds like there's a race car speeding by! I would recommend turning on the T.V. or whatever if you have kids at home. And if you're thinking of taking this toy to the bathtub, be careful not to fully submerge it in the water. It's not made for being fully submerged in water but it can be used in careful water play.
This toy is ranked pretty low on material safety. As I said before, it's made of jelly material so be sure to use a condom if sharing it. It is not a material that can be sterilized by boiling it. I washed mine with antibacterial soap and water. Then I patted it dry and stored it separately in my toy box. You can use both silicone and water-based lube when enjoying this toy.
As far as packaging, the toy is clearly and prominently displayed. There is no guessing as to what the product is. If you're giving it as a gift, I would suggest putting it in a pretty gift bag that is not transparent.

Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it19 months after original review
Well, I'm still not lovin' this toy. It delivered mediocre pleasure, at best. I decided to delete it from my toy box a while ago. If I were going by looks, it sure was pretty. Other than that, it was still a dud.

You said that it's a dainty pink - from the pictures, it looks like a more redish tint. Is it closer to pink than it's displayed?
Great review, Sexy Skye!

Hi Sir!
Yea, it's closer to a pink to me although it could be construed as a red. It seems to be a little lighter in person. At least it seems like it to me. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder.
