This is a versatile, effective, and quality vibrator for an amazing price. I only see two cons: that it gets hot and the dial can be accidentally turned just a little too easily. Other than that, it's golden. Wanachi earns a solid 5 stars from me.

Pros
Powerful, Easy to use (beginner-friendly), Waterproof, Cheap, NOT a battery hog.
Wanachi Mini is a wand-style vibrator made by Pipedream. Wand vibrators are primarily designed for clitoral stimulation but can also be used on the nipples, balls, or other sensitive areas. They can be used for any and all situations including solo/masturbation, as well as foreplay or even during sex. This particular wand is waterproof, so it can be used in the bath or shower. It is fairly small and lightweight, so it would be a good one to travel with. Just be sure to remove the battery first to avoid any 'surprises'. ;-)
The body of the Wanachi mini is made of hard, smooth plastic, while the head is silicone. I would like to point out that it is some of the firmest silicone I have run across. There is absolutely no give whatsoever. This is a plus for those of us who like external pressure, but not all may appreciate this. By the way, silicone is one of the safest materials around, with a 10/10 safety rating. It's completely nonporous and phthalate-free. Plastic is nearly as safe as silicone, but since you won't be putting the handle next to your intimate parts, it doesn't matter so much.
All wand massagers are designed basically the same way, with a head, the vibrating part, attached to a long handle. Wanachi mini's head happens to be oblong, and it is attached to a flexible neck. According to Pipedream, the neck can be bent up to 45 degrees before you risk damaging it. If you do break it, there is little recourse except to try to superglue it. My husband and I have managed to contain our excitement and be gentle with the toy so far. There is really no reason to extend it too far since you can always move your wrist to make it better contact your body.
For me, the size of Wanachi mini is just perfect. It feels good in my hand, and is not so large as to be intimidating. As previously stated, it would be great for travel. I know there are larger/more powerful wands out there, but I'll probably stay with my Wanachi. It's adequate for me, and why mess with what works?
Two AA batteries power the Wanachi Mini; simply unscrew the battery cap and insert. Using the Wanachi mini is just as easy. Turn the dial at the end of the battery cap to turn on the vibrations and go from low to high. There are no patterns, but I think you will find the vibration quite adequate, at least I do. The vibrations are localized in the head of the toy. There are very little in the handle, so your hand shouldn't go numb. The only bad thing about the controls is that the dial can easily get turned by accident. This is no biggie, just turn the dial again for your chosen speed. As far as noise goes, Wanachi is moderate. On the lower speeds, it's pretty quiet, but the top does get a bit buzzy. I have not tested its waterproof feature except to clean it; therefore I can only verify that it is "splash proof", personally.
Cleaning the Wanachi mini is super easy. Soap and water is my preferred method, but you can also use toy cleaner or wipes. Do NOT boil or place in the dishwasher; as with all toys with a motor, doing so will ruin it. I store my Wanachi away from all over silicone toys since contact can ruin them. For the same reason, I use water-based lube only.
Wanachi mini came in a thin cardboard box with a picture of the toy on all sides. That said, it is NOT discreet. There was a small slip of paper inside the box describing how to install batteries, and some other basic info about the toy. I see no reason why the box couldn't be used for gift giving or for storage. It is pretty flimsy but it does the job of keeping the toy clean and safe.
When I bought the Wanachi mini, I was looking for something that would be a little less bulky to use during sex than my G4 Tiger. I definitely found that in the Wanachi. It is just perfect to place between my husband and I when we're in missionary, and it stays put without interfering with penetration. I'd say this is a great alternative to cock rings--more powerful than most, and definitely a lot cheaper than the rechargeable ones (we have a Mio and love it, but sometimes we want to transition quickly from foreplay to intercourse, and Wanachi mini is GREAT for that.)
The one con I've found is that the head does tend to get hot after about 15-20 minutes of use.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it3 months after original review
This remains my absolute favorite vibrator. It is convenient by yourself or during sex. As a bonus, my batteries only recently died after approx. 10 HOURS + of use. That is unheard of for a vibrator, in my experience.
