Nubby, Swirly, Buzzing Glass

This sensual glass vibrator is an extremely and uniquely textured toy that provides intense sensations both internally and externally. It's a short, almost squat vibrator that lends itself best to a lot of stimulation due to the texture but not enough length for effective g-spotting. Waterproof, easy to clean, lends itself well to temperature play.

Use

The Kissa sensual glass vibrator from EdenFantasys is a squat, highly textured, glass vibrator that is slightly on the thick side. Plastic covered with nubbed and swirled glass, it gives you the best of both worlds; the feel of glass with the added bonus of vibrations.

Because it's on the shorter side this may not be the best for internal use if your aim is to hit your G-spot. There simply isn't enough of it for much maneuvering. If you like the feel of a very textured toy, however, it is easy to thrust shallowly and the texture is astounding. With it's thicker, rounded, nubbed head and swirled shaft, there is plenty of sensation going on when you use this toy.

The texture on the head is a bit intense so those who prefer a smoother toy -- or a more slender toy, since the texture and firm material makes this one feel a bit larger than it is -- may not care for this one. If you adore texture, though, this one is a winner.

It's cool and sleek due to the glass exterior, moderately strong as a vibrator and very stimulating. While it may not be strong enough for some it's definitely great for foreplay and tactile sensation.

Material / Texture

Kissa is actually a plastic interior covered by a tempered glass exterior. The glass is smooth and cool but packed with textures. The head is bulbous and dotted with raised nubs, the shaft is swirled and combined they're almost like sensory overload.

I've found that this glass isn't quite as cool to the touch at room temperature as a solid glass toy but it still works quite well for temperature play, warming to your body temperature or easily cooled down or heated up. A bowl of water works best; you can ice it down or make it hot.

The plastic underneath the glass is a metallic red that is plainly seen thru the clear glass. The control portion/battery compartment is a lighter red plastic.

I would suggest that this material is for the more advanced user or those who know they prefer a lot of texture. The round, nubby head provides an astonishing amount of sensation.

Design / Shape / Size

I'm quite fond of the design of this toy. I love glass; love the smoothness, the sleekness, the unforgiving texture and firmness. I also like vibrations. This one gives me both in a compact, moderately strong package.

The glass vibe is on the short and squat side; 5.75 inches long with 5 of those inches being insertable and a 1.5 inch diameter. Being glass and plastic, both hard materials, it feels a bit girthier than it is. I like to have a few toys that aren't so long I bang my cervix so I appreciate the shorter length, even if it did make it difficult to get g-spot stimulation from the vibe. The intense texture provides a lot of internal stimulation that makes up for the lack of G-spotability, giving a lot of sensation that goes well with additional clitoral stimulation. As a clitoral stimulator, it also worked well, the cool, sleek nubs providing a really neat sensation with rubbing or circling.

I'm quite sure this would be a super experience for any level of user as an external vibe on clitoris, nipples or other sensitive bits but would recommend beginners move carefully if inserting. It's not a small vibe and the texture is definitely intense.

It's small size makes it fairly easy to tuck away but I wouldn't call it discreet. Anyone seeing it left out is going to suspect it's a vibrator.

I would not suggest using this toy anally as it has no flaired base and is short enough to be easily "lost".

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Kissa is controlled via a push button on the top of the toy, set into the plastic battery cover. It has three speeds and each push to the button amps it up a notch from low, to medium to high and then off.

Vibrations seem to be near the middle of the 5 inch shaft though they transmit to the tip of the toy well.

It's definitely not a powerhouse of a vibe but it does have moderately strong vibrations that were enough to finish the job for me. The vibrations are deep and low rather than buzzy and high -- which often translates to people as less power, so if you need a rocket, this may not be the toy for you.

Even if it's not enough to get you off, however, the vibrations and texture make for superb stimulation and foreplay, which I really like. Not every toy needs to be the start, middle and end of my session and it's nice to have one that has a specific purpose. With this one, it's sensation.

Vibrations are fairly quiet; you can hear it but it's not what I'd consider loud. Behind a closed door with some background noise, it's unlikely anyone is going to know you're using a sex toy.

This vibe is waterproof and is sealed with a thick, white rubber o-ring at the top. I did not take it into the bath with me but it held up fine in the shower and under running water.

Care and Maintenance

Glass and plastic are both easy to care for and fairly non porous. Wash with soap and water, toy cleaner or a wipe if you're not sharing, use a ten percent bleach solution if you are.

Because it is has a glass exterior, you want to store it wrapped well. A padded bag or folded into material that is soft and cushiony is your best bet. Letting it bang around in the drawer or with other toys can cause chips and cracks in the glass.

Any lube you prefer can be used with this toy which is a definite plus.
Follow-up commentary
I was lucky enough to get the Kissa before Eden Fantasys even decided to carry it for sure and I really do consider myself lucky. I've had my Kissa for about four months now so I've really had time to see if it holds up and works for me.

It isn't the strongest vibe ever and the texture is intense but the texture seems to make up a bit, for me, for the lack of vibrational strength when I use it to rub or tease my clitoris.

I'm still not fond of it for insertion but, hey, that's ok. It's a pretty, body safe, glass toy that vibrates. You almost can't go wrong.

It's definitely held up; no issues with the glass or the under plastic, the push button still works well and it's still watertight.
