For a traditional vibrator, this one was not very special. It was pretty basic but not my ideal vibrator. For a beginner, this might be a good toy to try, but I would honestly suggest going for something made of silicone. The plastic isn't very comfortable in comparison to a good vibe and can have some drag.

The speed settings are basic. There is a spring door at the base of this vibrator where the battery is inserted, and on the same door is a knob that adjusts the vibration settings. The settings are pretty standard - the further you twist, the stronger the vibrations, and vice versa. Although it did pack some good vibrations, they were rather short-lived. This little sucker on a high setting can drain batteries quicker than any toy I've used before.

This vibrator can be used for both vaginal or anal penetration. If using for anal purposes, I would suggest buying a grip, as the plastic gets slick when used with lube and can slip in your hand. There is no grip on this toy. Honestly, a grip would probably be nice to have to equip this vibe for vaginal penetration as well. The reason I say that is because where you hold it is the same place as where the controls are, and it is easy to twist the settings by accident, and not so easy to twist it back one-handed.

This vibe could also be used as a body massager, but barely, as the vibrations are not very intense and it does not hold its power for very long as it drains batteries on high.

Overall this could be a good beginner toy for someone, but it's not my ideal toy. This is an okay vibrator to purchase when on a budget, but I prefer silicone as it is worth the extra expense.

This is just too simplistic for my tastes. While it's still great for a beginner, I crave variety and texture. I'll keep this as backup in case I ever need it, but I've left this one out of my normal routine. For someone who is new to vibrators and may want to try something simple first, this could be a good toy. But, it's not enough for me at this present time.
