Not sure what to make of it...
Overall, I was disappointed. The sleeve is too short to be used for penetration, and the vibrations are quite weak.

Strong odor, odd design
This was one of the first insertable toys I bought, and it turned me off insertable toys for years! I'm just not really sure what the designers of this toy were going for. The sleeve has a realistic design which implies that it is intended for insertion. However, the sleeve stops short a few inches down the shaft so it is not long enough for penetration. It seems that the realistic sleeve is for decoration only. The toy was too big for me to insert with the sleeve on but that's due to my specific anatomy. Even if you are able to insert it, you still cannot thrust it in and out vigorously, as the point where the sleeve ends can irritate the vaginal opening.
In addition, the sleeve is not made out of a very good material. The plastic smell is very strong, and it will leave the odor on your genitals (or wherever you decide to use it). Not sexy.
I gave up on the sleeve in the hopes of still having an orgasm. I removed the sleeve which was difficult, although if it were looser it would probably fall off inside the body. To my disappointment, the vibrations were not very strong at all. The vibrations emanate from the base, not the tip, which renders the bare vibrator inadequate for clitoral stimulation. I was unable to climax.
Since the toy seemed to be inappropriate for vaginal penetration and clitoral stimulation, I am not exactly sure how it was intended to be used. It certainly would not be useful for anal penetration as the edge of the sleeve could damage delicate rectal tissues.
Cleaning is not an issue for me. I simply dust it from time to time since it has not been near my vagina since the day I bought it.

The Mini brute and I just have too many irreconcilable differences. I decided to throw it away. The weird half-sleeve hurts during penetration and the vibrator is so weak, I don't think it could give me pleasure in any way. Sorry!

I feel bad it turned you off of insertable toys for some time. A good reason to never assume that toys that don't work well and are cheap are "good for beginners." Poorly designed toys turn people off, seasoned users as well as beginners.
