Not stunned by the Stunner.

I wasn't impressed. As a dildo, the design is okay. The vibrations were almost painful, in my opinion. Mine broke after probably four uses. It was an okay starter vibe, but I won't buy another one or a similar one.

Use

The Stunner is a simple G-spot stimulating vibrator. The problem is, the vibrations are in the tip (landing around the cervix) instead of near the G-spot. That's fine if you're using the head to stimulate your clit or even putting the tip inside your ass, but if you're going for vaginal stimulation, it's not a very good design. There is no light setting on the vibrations. Your options are to either use this as a dildo or to turn on the vibrator and hear a loud buzzing while the Stunner vibrates wildly. There are a few settings of vibration, and the highest is terrifying. The only way to shut off the vibration is to cycle through the higher settings. On the rare occasion I use this as a vibrator, I have to pull it out to turn the vibrations off or sit there with my PC muscles clenched and try to press the button as quickly as I can in spite of the thrashing inside me. I can't use this unless I'm home alone, because it's too loud. I like the Stunner as a dildo. The size and design are great. However, it's too powerful for me to enjoy as a vibrator.

Material / Texture

The Stunner is made out of TPR, which has a little bit of stickiness. I didn't notice much of a smell when I first used it. The texture of the material is very smooth and easy to slide in. In comparison to the rigid shaft, the TPR is very soft and has a little bit of a squish to it. This was my first vibrator, so beginners shouldn't have any trouble. I like to get mine wet before I use it, both because it attracts lint that needs to be washed away and because using lube on a toy with bumps means more work later.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is roughly 7" insertable. It is straight and not at all flexible, though the material itself is soft. My vagina curves, so straight toys aren't ideal for me. It will work, but I got this mostly for the design and size. I love the bumps in the Stunner. They really caress the vaginal walls and G-spot with every thrust. There are better vibrators out there, but for the cost and use as a dildo, the Stunner works fine. I don't see why beginners would have a problem with it. If you're advanced, the design and size may not be enough for you. I store mine in the box it came in. I guess you could hide it under your pillow or bed (as a lot of girls do), but you're gonna need to rinse it off before each use if it's left out in an area where fibers can get on it. It looks like a vibrator, but it isn't a realistic one so it's discreet in that sense. Travel with it should be fine, just take the batteries out.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are in the tip, which should rest somewhere near your cervix. This wasn't ideal for me, so I don't use it as a vibrator. The vibrator is controlled through a button at the bottom of the Stunner. The settings are all fairly high, and I couldn't handle my cervix being violently shaken. To turn it off, you have to keep pressing the button and endure even more severe vibrations. The design is flawed, but if you like powerful vibrators, this may be your guy. This toy is pretty loud and powerful, so I don't recommend using it when people are home unless you don't mind them knowing you're masturbating. I haven't used the vibrator in the water, but I rinse the toy off under a tap and it does fine thereafter.
I made the mistake of thrusting too hard with the vibrations on and broke the cord inside somehow. Mine will now vibrate without batteries in it. I'm not sure how this happened. If I had to guess, I'd say it's because the toy has no curve or give. It's my own fault for trying to make this toy enjoyable. Lesson learned, I'll use it as a dildo from now on.

Care and Maintenance

Caring for this toy is fairly simple. I rinse mine off with water before use and use antibacterial soap and water when I'm done, then store it in its box. You could also use toy wipes on it. It attracts lint and hair, so store it in something - even if it's just a plastic bag. Any lube is compatible with it. If you're sharing, definitely use a condom because TPR is porous.

It sounds interesting, though it's a shame about the vibrations being in the wrong place.

you're welcome, everyone. i've heard some people really have luck with this. maybe mine was defective, though the vibrating bullet looked to be in the same place when i saw it at my local sex shop. i agree, the design is really a good one and it looked promising. but if you can't use it for its intended purpose, it's not worth the money :/

Great detail, thanks for sharing that! I'm a little confused about the G-spot thing, though...does it say on the box that that's what it's intended for? All it says on the product page here is that it's a traditional vibrator. As for a toy not being worth the money if it doesn't work for its intended purpose, I have to say: not necessarily! Some toys work very well for purposes other than their main "intended" one--that's how the Hitachi Magic Wand became so popular, after all! It isn't famous for its back massaging abilities...
