This toy is best for those looking for a way to integrate temperature play into their sex lives but who are looking for a way to hold onto the ice without the discomfort of cold fingers. The silicone base allows the giving partner greater control as well.

The base is made out of textured matte silicone, which has indentations in it to allow a better grip. The mold is made of flexible silicone, which has been hollowed out to create the shape of the bottom part of the egg.

Unfortunately, the design of this toy is way more interesting in theory than in practice. I tried to freeze the ice with the enclosed mold, which forms the egg shape, four separate times. Each time I tried, when I pulled the egg out of the mold, it had mostly separated from the silicone base. Because of the "nub" that sticks out from the base, it did hold somewhat, but it didn't feel very stable.

The vibrations were a real disappointment. The toy came with a push-button bullet-style vibrator that fit into an opening on the silicone base. When I powered the bullet on, the vibrations were very weak and transferred somewhat through the silicone, but I could not feel them in the tip of the ice portion. The bullet that mine came with also only lasted about a minute before dying for good.

This toy can be cleaned with soap and water, boiled (remove the bullet, please!), washed in the dishwasher on the top shelf with no detergent, or with toy cleaner. It should be used only with water-based lubricants.

The box that this toy came in was a very classy white box with a splash of water on the front.
