Thank you for the heads-up on this. My ardor for this toy has definitely cooled quite a bit. I would have been very disappointed to learn that it could not be turned on and off by my husband while we were out and about with it inserted. Plus, the fact that it is so loud and whiny would definitely cool my excitement with a lot of embarrassment! Totally not the type of experience I envisioned. I wanted it to be OUR naughty little secret -- not let everyone else around me know what we were up to!

They really need to work on quality control with this one. Who wants to pay that much just to gamble that they'll receive one with a good range? Nice review.
