This rabbit may have disappointed me, but if you're looking for a cheap toy that will get the job done quickly and quietly, give this bunny a chance. It's flimsy but fairly powerful, hard to clean, but wonderful for thrusting, and is completely silent under the covers. It's perfect for those of us with roomies or nosy next door flatmates.

Pros
The Classic is cheap, quiet, and fairly powerful.
Cons
The Classic is also a battery guzzler, flimsy, and made of jelly.
I bought the Classic Rabbit Pearl as a replacement for my last rabbit, which died tragically about three months ago. The Classic looked very similar to my first one (which has been discontinued), but sadly enough, it didn't come close in performance. Now, while this might be a side effect of me moving onto grander toys like the Hitachi, I do believe that this is just a weaker vibrator.
The Classic is used just like every other rabbit toy. It comes with a textured shaft that you insert vaginally, and a "rabbit" shaped attachment with ears that wiggle and vibrate on the clitoris. I suppose this toy could be used anally as well, but I personally haven't tried it that way. The base is easy to grab and makes it an okay toy for thrusting, but I wouldn't thrust it too often or too hard for reasons that I'll explain later on.
This toy could be used for partner play, I suppose, but I prefer it for solo times when I need something that will get me off quietly and quickly. It's a little on the small side, which makes it, in my eyes, okay for beginners. If you're more experienced girth or intensity wise, you might want to skip this one. I found this vibrator is especially helpful in a campus/roommate living situation. It is so quiet.
The Classic Rabbit is made out of Jelly, which is a turn off to some people (I am now included in that lot). It smells like a pool toy (and tastes slightly like one as well). The jelly is firm but has a good amount of give in it, and it is the perfect density for g-spotting. The pearls inside are plastic, and are able to be felt through the thin jelly covering.
The base is plastic and the wire and controller are made out of rubber and plastic. Unfortunately, the base and controller box feel incredibly flimsy. They're made out of super thin plastic, and I felt like I was going to break the entire toy every time I tried to change the batteries. The actual toy, however, feels pretty good for Jelly. If you're used to silicone or other higher quality materials, or if you have health concerns, skip this or buy condoms to use with it.
There are bumps, dips, and (creepily enough) a smiley face on the shaft of this toy. The highly prominent glans is not the most comfortable thing in the world. As someone who prefers more "intact" looking toys, I found that this design pulled too much moisture out of my vagina with every thrust. The glans-ridge area is so prominent that it acts almost like a plunger.
The design of the Classic Rabbit is just that: Classic. This is the rabbit that everyone recognizes. It is not at all discreet. The size is more for beginners, in my opinion. The shaft is thin (5 inches circumference), and there's only a little under 5 inches of insertable length.
The shape of the shaft is penis shaped, though not entirely realistic. If you like length, girth, or realism, skip this. If you're looking for a small, cute, pink toy that won't break the bank, this might be the rabbit for you. The shape of the rabbit ears is nice, but they lay too close to the shaft for me. I have to constantly spread my labia to get it to make contact with my clitoris, so it's not exactly the "hands-free" experience I was looking for.
Here's where the Classic starts going downhill. It has all the bells and whistles of your run-of-the-mill rabbit, but with almost none of the power. I'm fairly tight and like to "clench," but apparently I have a super vagina, because even with the toy on high power, it would not rotate inside of me. The vibrating ears were nice, but not as powerful as I would have liked.
As I said earlier, the control box is very flimsy. On more than one occasion I felt as if I'd broken it. Also, I'm not sure if I simply received a faulty model, or if it's a trend with this toy, but it would only work if the cord was in a very specific position. Losing your orgasm halfway through because the cord shifted isn't very fun. The control box does, though, have sliding controls, which I am fond of. It also tends to guzzle batteries which, for a broke college kid, is not a good merit.
Jelly can't be sanitized or sterilized, so no sharing this one (or using both anally and vaginally/orally!) unless you have condoms on hand! Jelly also can leak phalates, so be cautious if you're sensitive. I wash mine with warm water and anti-bacterial soap. Be sure to wrap a towel around the base where the wire is so it doesn't get wet. This toy, obviously, is not water-proof, so be extra careful.
I was fairly disappointed in this toy. That being said, I'm sure some of that disappointment simply stems from the fact that I've been using more high powered, high quality toys. It still gets me off, and I love to use it during times that I have to be extremely quiet. However, give me my Hitachi any day. If you're a rabbit beginner and don't mind the cons, I say go for this toy. As it goes, it's a fairly nice rabbit toy. But if you are more experienced, hop on over to another toy.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore8 months after original review
As a big fan of rabbits, I was hoping that this classic rabbit would keep satisfying me, but I think my Hitachi has ruined me for weaker toys. Plus, I've noticed that this toy has the unfortunate habit of slipping out mid-orgasm (especially if I'm moving around a great deal), and that can be a real mood killer. I'd still recommend this for beginners, but if you're more experienced, I'd get something with a little more bang.
