Not a Bad Dream
It may not hit your g-spot, but this is a good value considering the price and the impressively strong multispeed motor.

Difficult to use speed dial
First impressions go a long way for me, especially with sex toys, and looking at the Dial-a-Dream #94 my first impression was "Umm... what?". This is obviously not your typical looking vibrator, definitely eye catching. But because it's meant to be for the g-spot I think it gets a bit of leeway in the looks department. Even though I knew it was silicone, it was surprising to feel how soft and flexible it was when I pulled it out of the packaging (which, by the way, is not exactly discrete, though decent enough for storage). Quite honestly it looks like it's made of rigid plastic, and the blue version I got is actually more of a pale purple (which works for me since I love purple).
So down to business. As advertised, this toy is 8 inches long, with the dial taking up one inch. It's tapered, but the thickest point is about an inch and a half across so it's not too big for comfort. The strength of the little multispeed motor in this one is pretty impressive. The vibrations carry through the entire device, not just around the base or tip. The one thing I wasn't happy with is the dial controlling the speed. It's not intuitive or convenient; instead of something to grasp and turn, you need to push/turn with the pad of your finger. I found both hands were necessary to change speed when in use - one to hold the vibrator and one to turn the dial. But it could be the sort of thing that feels more natural with more use.
As for entire purpose of the device, it did the job pretty well. I was concerned that the shape of the tip would be awkward for insertion, but it really wasn't an issue. It takes a lot for me to orgasm with toys on insertion and I can't say that I got the g-spot effect (not enough of a curve to the tip for that). But the strong vibrations worked for me, especially around my clit. And noise wise, it's very discrete - can barely be heard under a blanket, so no sound is going to escape through a closed door. As advertised, it is waterproof. I gave it a try in the bath and there wasn't even a hiccup in the vibrations. And clean up was a breeze, though it's necessary to let it dry on its side instead of standing upright since the base is not flat.
So as an all purpose vibe, considering the price and the fact that it only requires 2 AAA batteries, it's worth having around. I wouldn't have it as my primary vibe, but it's a nice addition to my collection for the sake of variety.
