Mystic wand is a massager-type vibrator. It can work as an actual massager for some muscle pain relief, or as a clitoral vibrator. It is so petite and compact that it can be use for solo play or with a partner, on the bed, or under the covers.

It is very easy to operate and you won't get lost with the functions. However, do not be deceived--it packs a lot of power with varying intensity and vibration patterns that will make you melt with pleasure.

There are some attachments that you can purchase separately to use for both internal and external stimulations for added pleasure. I have not bought one for myself, though. For now, I'm very happy with it and it serves its purpose for me.

The wand head is covered with white, latex-free silicone which is highly rated safe for usage. It is soft and smooth, and has ribbed bands for added sensation, I think, but it did nothing for me, personally. The neck flexes a little so you can maneuver it. However, beware, the head attracts lint very easily. For the body/handle, I'm not sure what it's made of but it feels so smooth and velvety, like the silicone head.

When I first received it, there was a faint rubbery smell. It wasn't that bad and was easily washed away, so no worries.

The mystic wand is said to be hand-made in Japan. By the look and feel, it is truly classy, solid, and of high-quality. You can never go wrong.

The Mystic Wand may appeared to be just your ordinary wand-type massager. It has a length of 8¼ inches, girth of 5¾ inches and diameter equals 1¾ at its widest point. It is just the right size for me and not too heavy, either. Comfort wise, you can bring it anywhere since it's cordless and even splash-proof. What's not to like, may I ask? Also, mine is in a classic white and black color. Very classy indeed!

Powered by 4 AA batteries, it has a high-quality motor which features six different vibration modes that let you choose from mild, strong, and stronger vibrations, plus three pulse intensities with indicator lights. There is an easy-to-control button on the handle and a separate on/off switch.

You may not want to bring it with you on your travels, (that's why I love my Lelo Mia!) because of its size, but it is discreet enough to be left around. You can always reason out that it's just a massager, nothing more!

As I said before, the Mystic Wand is simple and easy to operate. Of course, one con that I need to point out is about the batteries that are needed for it to operate. First, it would be perfect for me, if and only if it was rechargeable (Oh, they have the rechargeable version, too bad I missed it!). It uses 4 AA batteries and I found the battery placement very difficult to figure out. Also, when I tried to use GP rechargeable batteries, it's too tight for the compartment and very hard to take out once inserted. So, please take note of that.

The controls are easy to figure out, though. It has two buttons, the function and the power buttons. It features 6 vibrating modes, 3 of which are constant but with varying strengths, while the rests consist of different pulsating patterns. For its range, one can surely find a vibration setting that suits them. My favorite is the medium constant vibration on my clitoris. I normally use the wand in combination with my other insertable toys for maximum pleasurable sensation. Although, I can use it alone and still it delivers amazing clitoral stimulation.

For its power, it's surprisingly quiet. Background music can cover it up easily. It is compact and light enough to be used during intercourse, too.

It is water-resistant so you can probably use it in a shower, but it is not waterproof so do not try to submerge it in water.

The Mystic Wand is easy enough to clean. You can wipe it clean, use water and soap, or any cleanser. You cannot boil it, though, because of the motor. It might be splash-proof but I did not dare submerge it in water. If you find gunk in the ridges, you can use an old toothbrush to clean it. The silicone cap on the head is removable so you can wash it separately. Be sure to dry it thoroughly before you store it

If you need lube with it, use only water-based.

Do not mix the vibrator with your other silicone toys without cover to prevent it from melting away. You can store it with the pouch it came with. I advise you to wrap it first with plastic because the lint from the pouch will adhere to the wand.

I also want to remind you to take out the batteries when not in use to prevent leakage and discharging.

The packaging is minimal and doesn't have a lot to offer. It comes in clear plastic with a piece of cardboard in which the Vibratex logo and some information is written--clearly not discreet. The toy came also with a velvet storage pouch. It isn't great, because the lint from it gets transferred to the wand head.
