I am not normally a fan of cute faces on my sex toys, but I am glad that I made an exception for My Pet Vibrator. For one thing the little face etched onto the head of the vibrator reminds me of nothing so much as a walrus,* which I can't help but find entertaining. For another, I really like the way this vibrator performs.

It is surprisingly powerful for a battery operated vibrator. The main disadvantage is that it really only has one speed--high. I happen to enjoy powerful vibrations, but if you like your vibrations mild, or if you like a gentle warm up, you probably won't appreciate this vibrator.

The Pet does have four different vibrational patterns to choose from. The patterns are a continuous vibration, a fast pulsing vibration, an even faster pulsing, and a long pulse followed by three shorter pulses. You can cycle through the options by pushing the only button on the toy.

I also really like the shape of this toy. It's on the wide side of vibrators I have encountered at 1 3/4" diameter, and I enjoy the pressure on my g-spot created by the width and the slightly pointed "nose." I didn't get much out of the four rings around the middle of the toy myself, but your mileage may very. The rings have a firm but not hard texture.

I also really enjoyed using the head of the vibrator for clit stimulation. The "nose" makes a nice pinpoint stimulator and the flattened "head" is nice for stimulating a larger area.

As for care and maintenance of this toy, it's pretty simple. You can wash is carefully with soap and water or a toy cleaner. Just be careful not to get water on the battery compartment end since the cap has no gaskets to keep water out of the motor.

My least favorite feature of this vibrator is the large, plastic "crystal" screwed on the end of the toy with a visible screw. Personally I think it looks tacky, but it doesn't really bother me while I am using the toy.

*A friend said it looks like a mole, but my boyfriend said seal. It's a little bit unclear, but it is cute.

When I first unwrapped this toy and inserted the included batteries (nice touch, by the way), it didn't work. I checked the batteries. I checked that the cap was tight. I shook it around. I checked the connections on the battery compartment. Nothing. Just as I was about to give up, it started working and has been fine ever since. I have no idea if this was an indication of poor quality or just a random fluke.
