My Mini Itchy Crystal Light Saber
The Crystal Chic looked so perfect, but I was left a little disappointed. Let that be a lesson to really take into consideration what you read in a review about unfavorable features of a toy before purchasing on a whim, no matter how great something "looks."
Published:
Pros
Long length for a bullet, rounded tip, smooth, pretty
Cons
Noisy, seriously high-pitched vibrations, very numbing on the fingers
I figured I had found my perfect bullet in the Crystal Chic. I was looking for something a bit longer than your average bullet, more rounded at the tip, and pretty all at the same time.
What I didn't realize was how I should have listened to the other reviews I read that clearly stated this bullet is extremely high pitched past the lowest setting and almost unbearably numbing/itchy to the fingers, which is downright distracting combined with its seriously high-pitched sounds. I liked the looks of it too much to deny it, but lesson learned.
Regardless of those features, it actually does get the job done for me and doesn't require hardly any movement at all if that's what you look for in a bullet vibe. The orgasms are fast and strong, but I definitely enjoy the deeper vibrations of my Crystal High Intensity bullet a lot more, even though that particular bullet requires a bit more motion to get the job done. Because this toy has such high pitched, buzzy (but strong) vibrations, I don't think it would be good for someone with an overly sensitive clit.
At 5 inches in length and 1/2 inch in diameter, I do like how you can hold it like a wand. It works great lying on its side as well as using more pinpoint stimulation with the rounded tip, though holding it on its side provides a stronger vibration and probably wouldn't be too pleasing for an overly sensitive clit either.
It is waterproof, but I haven't given it the test yet. It is PU-coated plastic, so it's firm but has a soft, velvety feel to it with a bit of drag, so it's not super slick like your average plastic bullet either. You can't sterilize it, so it's best cleaned with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner, and it can be used with both water and silicone-based lubes.
This toy would not be good for anyone who is looking for discreet sound or who hates itchy fingers.
However, if you don't mind the itchy fingers and sound isn't of concern and you want something a bit longer than your average bullet, it may be the bullet vibe for you.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I've given it some more tries, but nothing's going to change how itchy, buzzy, and straight-up unpleasant playing with this toy is for me, which is such a disappointment because it's so cute and pretty and an ideal length for a bullet vibe.

I figured this one would itch the hell out of my fingers! Great review

Yeah, for me it's one of those that looks great before you buy it, but then ends up in the toy box graveyard. JimmyJane Little Chroma seems worth looking into if you're looking for a longer bullet type vibe.

Great job, thanks for sharing!

great review, thanks for sharing. this one wasn't strong enough for me so i think i was originally distracted by how pretty it is and then it didn't really deliver power wise for me

Itchy sounds unpleasant. I think I'll look into the high intensity instead. Thanks!
