Liv is designed for G-spot stimulation and works very well in that capacity, although I use it primarily for clitoral stimulation. I've also used it anally, though I wouldn't recommend that since it doesn't have a flared base and isn't safe.

The insertable portion is made of lovely silky smooth silicone which doesn't attract lint. The handle is a smooth hard plastic.

It's simple and easy to use. Suitable for beginners, though the price point is a little high. It's the first vibrator I bought for myself. A little on the small side, but I'm not looking for something to fill me up. It's curved and slightly thicker towards the end, which makes it effective for g-spot stimulation. You can also use the tip for localized clitoral stimulation, which I prefer. The vibrations are concentrated in the tip and are moderately strong. I'd like it better if they were a little stronger, but they get the job done.

It's not discreet in the sense that it's obvious what it is, but it's not obscene either. It would be fine for travel in its pouch with the controls locked.

Liv is controlled by a 4-way button. Left and right control intensity. Up and down scroll through the modes. There are 5 vibrational modes: steady, 3 pulse settings of varying speeds, and one that starts low and ramps high. The pulse settings do nothing for me. The ramping mode is nice for teasing, but most of the time it's not worth scrolling through the worthless pulsing modes to reach it. You can press and hold to scroll through intensities, but you must repress to switch modes. The controls are not overly sensitive; a quick push doesn't always change the setting. You need to press with some authority, which minimizes accidental switching. Holding the button down locks the controls for travel.

The control pad flashes red when it needs charging. While it's charging the control pad flashes white and stays a steady white when plugged in and fully charged. You're not supposed to use it while charging, but I frequently do. It does work while plugged in but I have noticed some heating. It charges within a few hours. I've never timed how long the battery lasts, but it's multiple uses.

If you use it under the covers the noise is very faint. I've used it with my boyfriend in the room without him noticing.

Cleaning is not as easy as I'd like it to be. It's not waterproof so you have to be careful about water up near the handle. And this is where there a lot of seams and crevices. Usually this isn't a problem for me because I don't often use it internally. But when I do the whole thing, including the difficult to clean handle, can get very wet and messy (G-spot stimulation can make me squirt). I really wish it were waterproof!

I usually don't store it. I use it just about everyday, and it's usually either on my headboard or nightstand. If I want to put it away, I put in into the pouch it came with and tuck it in the drawer. It's important to keep it away from other silicone toys. And it is also not compatible with silicone lubes.
