I love this thing. It's awesome for use alone or with a partner. I use it alone to stimulate the clitoris or excite the vulva and get things going before I use my dildo. With my partner, it's great for forced or denied orgasm play, because you can give him/her the remote and let them decide when you get to cum! If you're very careful it can be used for anal play, though I would stress being careful. The loop for retrieval is not thick and wide enough to act as a stopper, so you have to keep your finger inside the retrieval loop at all times for anal play. It is made of a hard plastic material but there are no bumps or ridges. It is hard to describe the exact texture because it is plastic, but not a smooth plastic. It does have some texture to it, but it is not at all uncomfortable and barely is noticeable. The only uncomfortable part of the texture is that if it is inserted entirely into the body, it is easy to feel the hard ridge where the cap screws on, and it feels kinda scratchy and uncomfortable.
